I had given them a stellar review when I received and installed them. As I wore the headphones again later that night, the pads were comfortable and felt the same as the factory pad's. I assumed that I had installed the pad incorrectly after the pad felt like it might fall off within a few minutes. removed them to check them out only to find that the pads had simply come apart after they went through the second round of usage. I responded to the seller and received a short note of apology and assurance that new pads were on their way for free. It has been two weeks since I placed the order and I am still waiting. There is nothing I can recommend that will fall apart in 24 hours or less.

In the course of several years, the earpads on my original Bose QC35 became worn Having looked around for an alternative to the $35, I decided to go with it. From Bose, you'll get the 00 ones. Due to the installation tool, these were my first choice. The earpads on my old QC3s had previously been replaced without a problem, so I figured I would just have the tool in case it might be needed. I found them to be just as good or better than OEM pads when I held them in my hand. As soon as I saw the pads, I was impressed with their quality. I was very pleased with the soft and supple synthetic leather. Their appearance was the same as the OEMs. My second observation was that the scrim (mesh screen that covers the actual speakers and ANC circuitry had In the original, it was all black. This one is black and gray. The scrim on mine is from the original QC35, and I haven't seen the comparable scrim on QC35 II, so they may be the same. The color isn't the same, but they still look and feel the same and function just as well. A color difference isn't something to be feared - it is just something to observe. It was easy to install the pads and they fitted the headphone just as the originals did. Including replacing the scrims, the entire process took me about 10 minutes, and I did not need a tool to do it. In some cases, I can see how this tool would be helpful. With the original fit and look, they provide the exact same results as There is no doubt that they are incredibly comfortable, perhaps even more so than the original model. There is a slight difference in the foam on these over the originals, so they fit a bit more snugly. Noise cancellation is likely to be a bit more effective with these headphones because of the way they seal to your head. As well as improving sound quality, it seemed to improve the image quality. In the future, I will definitely buy another pair once these wear out. They are highly recommended even if they are only 1/3 the price of.

For the QC35s, the fit is excellent. The process of replacing the old with the new took less than 5 minutes. The originals feel and look the same as these. We will have to wait and see if these last as long as the originals. The other day, while looking for replacement ear pads, I ran across a post on a Bose site. It was reply to someone who was complaining about how short the OEM pads last. Protein leather is less durable due to sweat and body oils, according to a Bose representative. To extend the life of the protein leather, they also said that you can wipe them down once in a while with a soft, moist cloth. (I make no claim to know this for certain, only what I read from someone who appeared to be from Bose. ).

As I mentioned, I have a pair of QC35 Bose noise cancelling headphones that are aging. The material on the ear cushions is peeling and tearing, and it looks It was my intention to give them to my teenage daughter, but the Bose store was closed because of the flu pandemic. I went to get the Bose replacement pads, but the store was not open. them on Amazon and the reviews looked great, so I was hopeful I would like It was a pleasure working with these replacement headphone pads. It was very unclear whether or not these would fit perfectly and be comfortable. That's the case, The old ones can be removed and the new ones installed easily. It is a VERY nice touch that these cushions include a tool. Unlike other headphones I have owned, these headphones do not scratch or damage my cushions or have wounds on my hands, as I have experienced with other headphones. I recommend you get them if you need them. Don't use the worn out ones anymore.
