Questions & Answers

The Bose ear cushions look brand new. Are they originals of Bose?

The original packaging and seal, right down to the warranty card and installation instructions, make it look like a genuine Bose product.

Would they be able to fit on the QC35 series II?

In short, yes. QC35s are the same on both versions, and the cushions are the same as well. You may want to consider not replacing the cloth if yours are not falling It is a little tedious to clean off the old adhesive just like I did on the first replacement. During installation, make sure to latch each catch so you can get a good grip on everything.

Who makes them? Is it Bose?

In summary, they are original, they are very easy to install, and they have a wide range of uses

Could you please let me know if they fit the model quiet comfort 35 II? Is there any gray on your skin?

In case they are QC35 II employees

Please be aware! The Bose product you see here is not the Bose product
3/5

Bose has confirmed that this is not an OEM product. I contacted them to verify the serial numbers and they confirmed that the product is fake. My representatives advised me to return the product since the price of the OEM product is the same.

The quality of the work is low
3/5

These are awesome shoes, I bought two pairs, originals lasted for over six months* - 5 out of 5 stars - They are not the same as originals - I opened the box and one of the cushions was wrinkled and significantly harder under the pressure than the other, which was smooth and softer-I couldn't help but compare the two. After installation, it became apparent that the wrinkled cushion is thicker than the other one as well. There is less comfort with the new ones than with original ones, and I suspect the new ones will have worse noise cancelling - For 70 dollars, I feel scammed by an official accessory with an official price. The quality is not much better though. Hey Bose, I understand what you are saying and I have a similar experience with cars as well. When you get worn out tires on your car, you don't go to a tire shop. Rather, you buy a new one. Isn't.

A part of them falls out! During the course of a day, these do not stay secure in the headphones
3/5

am a frequent traveler for my job and love using my QC35 headphones. Bose Specific QC 35 replacement part was torn by my dog, and it's supposed to be a Bose Specific QC 35 replacement part. There is a Bose label on the packaging and it looks like it should work, but they fall out all the time. As much as I would like to use super glue, I do not want to damage the speakers. It appears as if there is a small gap in the chord that falls into the retention area, it is easy to slip in but They feel good and work well when it's in. If Bose can help in any way, that would be great.

Cushions for QC35 are NOT identical to those in the originals Their functions are still intact There are a lot of steps involved in installation
3/5

I had problems with the right ear cushion on my QC35, which started flaking on the lower edge shortly after purchase and split apart immediately. "Like new" was the condition of the left. How come there is such a It's not clear to me. I ordered replacement pads from Adorama through Amazon, and they came in a nice box labeled QC35,WLSS,CUSHION KIT WITH SCRIM,BLK,WW. Bose is a company with values similar to "Made in America, engineered in China" Wrap the logo in During a recent trip, I only replaced the scrim and ear cushion on the right. There are no visible differences between the original scrim and the scrim reproduced. When installing it, you must be careful about where to place it Unlike other speaker cups, it does not automatically align itself in place, and you have to align it correctly. There are a few things to keep in mind with the cushion mount By the time you wrap your fingers around the cushion's circumference, the tiny plastic retainer prongs are hidden by its baseboard, and since the base is snug and thick, it takes a bit of force to get the prongs to "snap" into place. As a result, I used a plastic stylus to apply pressure near the prongs at strategic points on the base. As mentioned previously, the new right pad is obviously different from the There is blue foam in place of green in the new pad It doesn't matter, but the new one is actually 2 mm less "poofy" than the original one. Thus, the diameter of the new cushion tube is significantly smaller than the old one. Are there any differences in how it feels or works? No, that I can tell, but it seems that the folks in the USA who were engineering these products did not work closely enough with the folks who were manufacturing them.

There is a notch on my original that doesn't exist on the scrim
4/5

In the screenshot on the left, you see the original, while in the screenshot on the right, you see the shipped version. It appears that there is a missing notch on the original that has a small adhesive. This means that the replacement scrim can't secure itself to the headphones. As far as the ear cup cushion is concerned, it.

Replace the scrim but don't replace the screen
3/5

As long as you are just looking to replace the Ear Cushion, this is the right product, but if you are going to replace the scrim as well, then you will have to purchase the original scrim. My new scrim does not fit perfectly in my Ear Cushion, as shown in the photos of my headphones inside the Ear Cushion. Therefore, if you need only to replace the Ear Cushion and your scrim is in good shape, then it's a good choice to buy this product.

I like the fit and quality of the system, but it takes some time to put it together and it is I finally took the plunge and bought these after the leatherette covering on the earpads on my original QC 35s (not IIs) gradually began to wear off
4/5

In my case, it lasted about 4 years, but the cover started coming off about a year ago. In my opinion, this is an average level of usage. When you work, you may listen to music for a few hours a day, and perhaps when you watch TV for one or two hours at night. They are also frequently used in Zoom meetings and other remote work situations. I remember that they fit just like the originals as much as I can, and the quality is good, but they are a bit difficult Thanks to their installation instructions, they are pretty easy to install. However, I found several YouTube videos showing the process of replacing the cable, but the included instructions pretty much summarized everything. In about 30 minutes, I was able to install mine Taking down the old pads and scrims, cleaning the tape residue off the old scrims, and installing the new scrims and pads took about 40 minutes.

The only tricky portion of this is that the foam lip that fits under the plastic tabs needs to be compressed to form the correct fit under the 10 (not 9 as described in the instructions). Then you have to push with your finger nail fairly strongly. For some reason, my finger nail didn't seem to snap into place very Since the foam lip is a bit fragile, the installation process is not as forgiving. You can ruin them if you mess it up. It is possible that some people find this to be the reason why they fall out. It might be helpful to start with the top notch, then do the bottom one, then one on each side, then do the rest. The lip fits tightly into the body of the headphones, so doing one side and going around may cause them to pop out (at least that has been
Well, they are a bit pricey In spite of this, they are original equipment and lasted four years. You might as well invest the extra 15 bucks in these, which are the real deal, instead of the knock-offs It's not working. A pair of 350 dollar headphones can be afforded every few years by someone who can afford them. )

The quality is 5 stars, but the installation is downgraded to 4 stars because of the needless difficulty. There's no need to do it every few years, which is a good thing.
