I like this tower display for a computer or gaming desk but I wouldn't want it on my living room or family room desk if I lived with guests. It works well but is more of a science project than a true tower display. The product could be transformed into a solid one by the introduction of a case that allowed the translucent bars to show through. It reacts to the music, but not in a tonally accurate way. In terms of visual perception, there are no differences between a bass note and a loud guitar solo. A product like this simply cannot be priced at $50.

I liked the different modes it had as well. There's no doubt this is one of the best in the price and ease of use category. Connecting it to a USB power source and then splitting the signal with a headphone jack is the easiest way to do it.
