Designed just right for a small car like this one. The goal was to separate the summed front and rear channels from the factory system with a decent but inexpensive crossover. If it wasn't there, the aftermarket speakers wouldn't sound right when operated per factory-tuned/equalized I heard a weak / unclear voice. When the KX2 is used to remap both front and rear channels in the AudioControl LOC, after reconfiguring the AudioControl LOC to sum both front and rear channels, Put them in front and behind each other I was shocked when I heard the sound coming out of the rear channels. The so-called political party Due to no change in the speakers beneath the seats, the subwoofer channels were referred to as such (as per factory equalization). It's inevitable that I lose the race At the head unit, there is a balance control for the rear. Due to the fact that this is a curated set If you tune it only once and then forget about it (just set output levels at the crossover), no worries. I have now got it all figured out in this car with the tunes!.
For my subs, this is the best thing I've ever purchased. It works exactly.
Not exactly what I wanted, but it was good enough!.
A kicker 2 way active crossover works well and does a decent job separating frequencies, however, it does not cope with high gains on low frequency channels. With several combinations of setup, I have tested tone generation and oscilloscope monitoring, and I have found that with a high gain, yet pure, input signal, the output is badly distorted. Although with a negative output gain, you can get a bit higher input volume, but eventually you end up tearing the speaker if you turn it up too loud. This crossover may work for you if you don't crank up the decibels to the maximum, I will say that at low and moderate volumes you receive a clear, clean signal to the amps.
In addition to the limited crossover that came with the amplifier I purchased, I bought this one for use with it. The software did the job just fine. It was easy to install and As an added bonus was that the binding posts for the power cable and the remote turn on plug in (hard to tell in the picture) so that it was easier to provide power and turn on power without the unit in the way, and then plug the crossover in once it is ready.
The item arrived promptly and was in perfect working condition. This was used to connect factory speakers to the amp and to connect low level outputs to the subwoofer. You've got a great idea!.
The item works fine unless you try to use speaker inputs instead of low-frequency inputs. There is a buzzing noise coming from the speakers when the input levels are too high. Thanks to my amplifier's high-to-low input converter, I can drive it at low volumes. It was easy to plug these in once they were connected. This adapter is designed to fit perfectly with any speaker setup in your car.
