I had trouble using the device for a few months and then it stopped working. In the first day, they sent me a replacement, which worked for a day after which it would not turn on. Following all my back and forth emails with the company, I decided to get a refund. When I asked for the money back, I only received half of what I had due to them saying I had the product The switch I got was not my favorite I believe it has an internal power supply issue, which is preventing it from I must say, however, that the customer service department responded quickly and tried its best to help me.

A good optical switch does what it is supposed to do. With my video game console, I've never had a problem switching between them. As you can see, I am using this with an LG sound bar, which only has one optical port.

With this device, I can switch between my Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and TV easily. In common with other reviewers, the power cable is situated in front of the unit, but I believe this does not detract from the aesthetics of this device and cannot impede its While other reviewers report experiencing static when devices are turned off and the sound bar and switcher are turned on, I do not experience this.

The surround sound receiver I have only has one optical Fiber input. I can connect my tv, dvd satellite receiver, and PC (streaming) to this device. The inputs are four and the output is one. I did not experience any loss of audio and I did not have any issues.

The audio source produces noise and static when it is turned off. Overall, it is a great little device. It does exactly what it claims to do. There are two reasons why I took away one star

1. It is connected to the front by a power cord. It is annoying since the power cable plugs in on the front and then you have to travel behind the device to hide it. If the device is visible in your setup then it just adds to clutter as it can't be hidden. 2. *br *br As soon as I turn off the source audio, in my case a PC or PS4, static comes through my speakers unless I turn them off first. On the other hand, the source does not have static when it is turned on. It's not a huge deal, but I didn't have this problem when I connected directly to my PC, so it's a bit annoying to have to turn off my speakers as well In summary, I think this is a great device. It is simple and intuitive and works without fuss. I think if it had been a bit larger so the power could plug in at the back, I would have given this 5 stars regardless of the other shortcomings.

To connect this item, I had to get up and move the connector for the sound system from one input to another. With my cable tv box, PS3, and Roku box, I can watch just about anything anywhere. Changing the input now just takes a few taps of the remote control. We have made things easier for you.

In the past, this was useful. During the weekend of December 17-18, I bought this. As of December 29, the program stopped working. It is too late to return it, as I don't have the packaging. When it worked, it was absolutely great, but now it's no use to me. The power will not come on. There is an internal component in the switch box that outputs 5V, so the power supply must output it.
