It was hard to place the cassette into my car stereo because it was shaped oddly and larger that normal. When I inserted the tape into the car stereo, it lasted for less than a minute before it ejected itself Although it may have been the fault of my player, it could also be that the ribbon on the cassette did not seem to touch the cassette player's heads properly if at all, so it was not touching the heads at Once I attempted to eject it, the tape became stuck in my player and I had to use tweezers to forcefully pull it from the player. There was a good chance that it might have gotten stuck. As I was looking at the packaging, everything seemed perfect and brand new, so either it was poorly designed or maybe I received a damaged item. Although I am not sure I would recommend it.
My tape deck was cleaned with this cassette cleaner. The cleaner doesn't seem to know where he or she The fluid cleaner was to be used with cotton swabs to be used in conjunction with the water cleaner It is much better to clean tape decks with cotton swabs than with a damp cloth. I would stay away from wet cassettes.
When I bought this, it was only for my car's cassette player, but it would not fit. There was some sort of problem with it stuck in Despite the fact that it works in my other cassette players, it does not work I am impressed with the quality of this cleaning liquid!.
There were two points where I am sorely disappointed, for one of which I assume some responsibility for my actions. In the first place, I thought I was ordering cleaning cartridges for VHS players when I saw the product was to clean audio cassettes. Obviously I take some of the blame for that misunderstanding, but it would have been nice if the distinction between audio and VHS head cleaner cartridges had been clearer. Yet what really, really, really irritates me is that I placed 2 orders for 2 of them. As a result, one package came with just 1/3 of a container of cleaning fluid, and the second package had a vial with very little cleaning fluid in it. It is not a product I would buy from Amazon again or its supplier in the future. Anyone considering making such a purchase is strongly advised to go to a store other than Amazon. Ideally, Philips would offer just containers of fluid, but from what I remember, it was no longer available directly from the company.
One of these cassette head cleaners has been elusive to me and I searched everywhere for one. I was having problems with both my CD Player and my Cassette Player on my Silveraldo. A cassette player that I have never used before wants to be cleaned first to see if that will help. I fixed it! NOW IT WORKS! It was definitely worthwhile for me to spend the money.
We were really pleased with how it worked and all the cassette players around our house and vehicle were happy!.
Purchased to be used in the future.
A problem with the product, not the manufacturer.
