Questions & Answers

Where does it come from? What does it do for you?

As if it were a tape, insert the cleaning cassette into the machine. Play for ten minutes and stop when you are finished I will only spend 15 seconds on this. REWIND IS NOT APPROPRIATE. It belongs back in the box it came in once you've pressed the EJECT button on it. In this way, the drums will be cleaned sufficiently to improve image quality. Please do not overuse this product. If you still have your old VCR, try the liquid drop variety of cassette. It is more satisfactory, but may no longer be available.

Ancient ruins must be preserved
4/5

Those supporting VCR players are going out of production as the players become more scarce. Although I prefer the 'wet' tapehead cleaners, this 'dry' version has been working very well, and should prolong the useful life of our 'tired' VCRs. Having to deal with becoming obsolete is hard!.

You should clean your head
3/5

This was a gift I bought for a neighbor who had me purchase it and she'd pay Me for it, but she didn't - Then She sadly passed away a few hours after I bought them. She had cancer, so she didn't remember telling me to buy them. In short, the situation is dire.

I would not recommend spending your time and money on this
3/5

Instead of taking the VCR to be serviced, I should have taken it in for repairs. I mentioned to the repair guy that I bought one of these tapes in order to fix the problem with distorted pictures from my VCR, and their response was "that never fixes it. ". I guess the heads need to be replaced most often The manufacturer no longer makes them. After spending another $45 on the VCR, I disposed of it in the garbage. I paid $ 00 to have someone tell me they couldn't fix the problem.

It just did not work well for me
3/5

I was unhappy with this product. The idea of cleaning a video head is not new to me, and I have used many other products that worked much better than this. Based on my experience with this produce, I didn't see any improvement after cleaning it and stopped As I am sure that different units with different amounts of need to be cleaned will produce different results, I spoke about them in this blog post. You should pass on this one in favor of a wet cleaner instead.

Our video machine head tends to get dirty very quickly when we have a four year old in the house
5/5

With a child that age, our videos often get dirty and the heads also get dirty. There is nothing like this tape cleaner it does an excellent job and is easy to operate Putting the "play" button on for just 10 seconds is all it takes. For our weekend house, I purchased a second one.
