Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
With this twin RCA/phono cable (male to male, 2 to 2), you can send audio in excellent quality.
The cable's 75 ohm impedance makes it superior to other coax cables that can only handle analog signals, allowing you to connect your analog or digital audio kit.
The PVC jacket that protects the high-purity copper conductors, as well as a double screen made up of aluminum-Mylar foil and a tightly woven aluminum braid, provide maximum durability and interference shielding.
Manufacturer's warranty is for 36 months.

Questions & Answers

Is it natural for them to be directional? If that's the case, how would I figure out which path is best for me?

No, this isn't a one-way street. However, keep in mind that the majority of the comments on this page aren't actually discussing the proper use of directional cables. br>br>That has nothing to do with AC audio signals, as the majority of the responses have suggested. br>br>A directional cable has an additional shield that is only grounded on one end. It's still an alternating current system, and only the ground wire is affected. br>It isn't as clean as a balanced pro- audio signal. The audio XLR signal isn't as good as an RCA/phono connection, but it's still better than nothing. br> br>The goal is to reduce the risk of a ground loop hum, which is a very real problem that can occur in pro-audio systems. audio equipment that can accommodate up to three people 4 guitars, various amps, drum sets, keyboards, 5 microphone cable powered guitar amps, guitar effect pedals, 12 to 24 channel mixers, dual subs, and other gear are all connected. br>The amount of wiring required by a band is often surprising. br>br>A small potential difference between ground points on equipment (for example, equipment running on a different breaker or phase of incoming 120V power) can induce a small current that causes 60Hz hum. br>br>Cables designed to assist in this are only intended to be connected in one direction. They must connect the grounded end at the signal source, not at the remote amp or remote powered speaker. A directional arrow is frequently found on cables with this feature. This has no bearing on AC audio signals, which continue to travel in both directions on the cable. br>br>In a typical home theater setup, a ground loop isn't a problem because there aren't any mixers, guitars, or effects pedals strewn about on the floor, and there aren't 100ft of microphone cables, and stereos are often powered by a single outlet, which isn't prone to ground loops. Most home users will not see a benefit from a directional cable, and as a result, they often claim that it made no difference, which can be true in that case.br>br>Most home users will not see a benefit from a directional cable, and as a result, they often claim that it made no difference.

What is the total number of pieces in the package?

a single cable set - There are a total of four male plugs, one on each end, as shown in the image. For my phono-to-receiver connection, it worked perfectly.

Do the cables run in parallel as a single (flat) unit until they get close to one of the ends?

They work together as a single unit in parallel.

Is it possible to separate the cables from one another?

Yes, you can, and we did just that to make two separate cables for two different subwoofers.

Low capacitance cables at a great price (18pf per ft) - You can spend a lot less or a lot more - it's entirely up to you
4/5

But, what exactly do you require? Audio cables are, without a doubt, the most misunderstood and misrepresented segment of the audio industry. For a 3 ft RCA cable, you can pay $1 or $1000, and there will be a supplier willing to supply you with one regardless of your budget. So, how much do you have to pay? br>br>How much do you have to pay? When does the law of diminishing returns kick in, and you only get a small to no improvement in sound for every additional dollar spent? What is the sweet spot in terms of marketing? Only you have the ability to respond to that question. . . . br>br> Everyone's requirements are unique, as are their hearing abilities. Furthermore, everyone's gear is unique, as each person has a different budget and level of audio equipment.

: UPDATE: 4/25/2018br>I recently relocated my Turntable to a new location that was further away from my receiver, and I needed a longer RCA cable to connect it. I needed a 15-foot cable, and because of the longer run, I wanted the lowest capacitance I could find. I've been reading a lot about it lately - Blue Jeans Cables kept coming up as the best low capacitance option. However, they are costly; I own a few, but I am always on the lookout for less expensive alternatives of comparable quality. br>br>I bought a capacitance meter out of curiosity - Specifically, the Elenco cm- 1555, about which I wrote an Amazon review. Capacitance as low as 12pf (picofarads) per foot can be achieved with the Blue Jeans Cables, which is exceptional. 18pf per foot is their most popular line. It is for this reason that people purchase them. When using analog RCA connections, audiophiles try to keep the cable's capacitance as low as possible. br>br>Next, I take measurements of the Kabeldirekt cables I own (I have quite a few), and guess what? They were in the 19pf range, according to the measurements. a range that cables costing MUCH more were measured in. To put that in perspective, consider the following: UGreen cables, which are available on Amazon and of which I own several sets - They had a density of 53 pf per square foot! Wow, that's a lot of money. The Amazon Basics Cables, on the other hand, had a respectable 29pf per ft measurement. It's not quite as good as the Kabeldirekt, but it's not bad either. Then I took some measurements on some of my older Monster Cables that I still have - Those cables for which you have been overcharged for years - The capacitance was NOT good and extremely high - regardless of which one I measured. higher than any of the aforementioned cables. What does this mean, though? br>br>However, what does this mean? It's just one more reason why these Kabeldirekt Cables are so affordable. br>br>END UPDATE: br>br>I own and use a variety of cables, including these Kabeldirekt, as well as Monoprice, Blue Jeans, Monster, and other brands. For my own personal budget, there is a price point beyond which I will not go; in fact, the Blue Jeans cables I own are on the high end, and I occasionally feel I overpaid. Again, everyone's needs are different; some people spend far more money on cables than they do on Blue Jeans, while others believe it is excessive. After purchasing and wearing Blue Jeans, I began looking for a different brand to try that was well-made but less expensive. I needed an HT for my sons' room and my woodshop, and I needed something with a good price-to-value ratio. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I did want something that was a step up from the Monoprice cables. br>br>These Kabeldirekt, in my opinion, have done an excellent job. These cables come in a variety of lengths and types, which I have purchased. I have the RCA in three different lengths: three, six, and ten feet, as well as various configurations of the three. Cables of 5 mm These cables have an oxygen-free copper core, are shielded, and are flexible, which are all features that I appreciate. They've also got a solid, well-built foundation. Ends and connectors are well-made, and they don't have to be yanked off with excessive force. They simply have the appearance and feel of a high-quality cable. br>br>However, the real test is how well they perform. Well, this is where cable shopping becomes subjective, and everyone has a different opinion. These, in my opinion, are good value for money. My main theater room is equipped with a Denon 7200wa and a Parasound 2125 amp, as well as Klipsch RP center, mains, and surround speakers. My shop has a Denon 4806 with a Definitive CLR 2002 center and SM 450 mains and 350 surrounds, as well as SM 450 mains and 350 surrounds. My son's home theater system is a Denon 3300W with a Def Tech BP 8B and a CLR 2002 center. I am pleased with the performance of these cables in all cases and configurations. These cables connect my turntable to my Radial J33 phono stage, which then connects to my Denon 7200 / Parasound Amp in my main room. I'm very pleased with the sound quality of these. I can't tell much of a difference between these and my Blue Jean cables. . . . br>br>The bottom line is that my system(s) / HT setups are of the "mid-range" variety. These cables, in my opinion, perform well in the "fi" category. You can spend less or more; the choice is yours; for me, the $10 range for RCA cables is adequate, and these are a well-made cable at that price. br>br>Recommended. I appreciate your taking the time to read this.

Cables of the highest quality (numbers have been corrected/added)

Many "high-end" products are inferior to this. Turntables, in particular, benefit from "end" cables. I was able to beat the crap out of some old, overrated monster cables I had on hand. An RCA cable is all that is required
5/5

So far, everything has gone well. I bought it with the intention of cutting one end off and splicing it into my factory wiring harness in order to bypass the Bose subwoofer amp. Much better insulation than the low-cost RCA cable I was considering. There's enough copper in this one to crimp, too.

It's a far cry from the $50 cables
5/5

For the price, these cables are fantastic! They are thick and durable. They're heavy-duty (I'd say they'd be fine running through walls or ceilings), and they deliver signals flawlessly. The gold- Despite being a common feature, plated connectors appear to be in good condition. They're well-made and don't appear to be easily worn out. br>br>Despite the fact that the two cables are "bound" together, you can easily separate them into two cables by simply pulling the loose ends apart (like a zipper), which may be useful in some situations. Finally, despite the weight of the cables- They still flex easily and aren't "rigid," which is advantageous when feeding them through tight spaces. Definitely suggest! br>br>.

RCA cables that are in good condition
5/5

I connect my Schiit Modi to my Schiit Vali 2 with these cables. (I've been using it for about a week now) It works as advertised and as it should. The wires appear to be of good quality (and are nice and thick), and it appears that some of the problems raised by others have been resolved. For example, several reviews claim that it is impossible to tell which cable is red and which is white, but this is no longer the case. The red has a red band and the white has a white band, so it's easy to tell which one is which.

The Opinion of an Elder Audiophile
5/5

For the money, this is an excellent cable. I used to have the Blue Jean LC- 1. Those are excellent cables, but they are stiff and difficult to manipulate. These are easier to route and more flexible. The connectors have a 24K gold plating that prevents corrosion and rust. The oxygen-free core is constructed in such a way that EMI and RFI signals are not interfered with. Timbo Slims left a thorough review on these cables, which you can find here. I can't say enough good things about them!.
