The cables can be gently separated into two separate individual cables by gently pulling them apart. On either end, there are no molding or binding tools. I'm very happy with these cables; they're extremely flexible and have snug-fitting RCA plugs, and the signal transfer is excellent. They come highly recommended from me!
When it comes to optical cables that won't stay plugged in, Check both ends of the cable for plastic guards and remove them. I had the same issue and was never able to get the optical audio cables to work. The connectors snapped into place after the tiny plastic cover tips were removed.
I bought two for my Denon Prime 4 controller, one for the right channel and one for the left, and then I plugged the red and whites into each of my powered speakers.
I haven't decided yet. You should be fine as long as your subwoofer has an input plug.

They won't fit and make a good connection in my recessed RCA jacks.
These are the ones that you should invest in. This cable set is fantastic. An equivalent product at one of the big box stores selling home electronics would cost at least three times as much. The ends mated perfectly and clung to the equipment connectors with a firm grip. At the same time, they could be pulled off on purpose, which is significant. Some ostensibly higher-end connectors have been known to damage the RCA jacks on connected equipment by being too tight and unable to be removed without causing damage. It was the perfect amount of connection pressure. This is what I use to connect my receiver's subwoofer outputs. Although it is much thicker than the tiny gauge generic cables that come with some equipment and are still widely sold, the cable is flexible and easy to route. Amazon got it right on this one.
They aren't great, but they aren't bad either. With one exception, they appear to be of good build quality. The gauge of the copper wire in the core is far too thin. A thicker gauge is required. The following are the reasons.
1- Around 60hz and below, they drastically reduce the bass. The highs around 15khz and above appear to be lost. To reaffirm my first impressions. Myself and three other people conducted a blind test against some more expensive (but not that expensive) rca's. One of my sons tried to deceive us by changing or not changing the cables, playing three or four different songs and performing five tests. Surprisingly, they all reached the same conclusion as I did. And all of us were 100% correct in identifying which cables were which. br>So, if you have the standard audio equipment that most people nowadays have. However, if you have higher-end gear, as I do, these cables will suffice. If that's the case, you won't like these cables.
My garage's audio system includes this y cable. Although the cable is too long for my needs, it delivers superior performance with no discernible distortion or latency.
Take my advice: unless you're buying REALLY expensive cables (i. e. more than $100), don't bother with the more expensive cables. If you're looking for a bargain, these are the ones to go for. I have quite a few of these in my fairly decent setup, and they sound fantastic. I can't tell the difference between these and my fancy Audio Technica cables, which I paid $100 for in Japan.
It comes highly recommended! Amazon did an excellent job.
I'm not sold on the gold, but at this point, I believe it's mostly for show. The wires turned out to be extremely quiet and EM interference resistant. With the exception of one connector, which was tightened to match the others with a quick pinch with the pliers, all of the connectors fit very tightly on the receiving jack. br>br>As well as the 4 foot length, 3 feet is frequently insufficient, and 6 feet is frequently excessive, so having a little leeway and slack with 4 feet proved to be exactly what the doctor ordered. I'm sure I'll be getting more of these in the future.
My Yamaha RX V675 receiver and Polk PSW 505 subwoofer worked flawlessly together. Two RCA subwoofer output connections are available on my receiver. Due to the fact that I only have one Sub (at the moment: ) I used this cable to connect the Polk subwoofer's two subwoofer outs to the Polk subwoofer's single RCA subwoofer in. There is no interference on the cable, and it appears to be well built. These cables make my subwoofer sound fantastic.
