Currently, there is only one PCIe slot for video (so it doesn't fit a full size card). The motherboard has 1 PCIe slot and 2 small form factor PCIe
Despite my unit having 2 slots, it is not certain that yours will have the same number. There are a number of different T40 models available from Dell. Depending on the unit, some may only have one slot, while others will have four slots available. You do not want to upgrade this device after you purchase it. Make sure you get the full specs you need for its service life when purchasing.
The answer is yes.
It can be upgraded only if the power supply is upgraded. Since the case is small, it is difficult to install video cards in it. Additionally, there is not much room for additional storage.

I cannot comment on Amazon's comment. My boyfriend is the one who recommended this computer to me. In addition, he bought some additional upgrades to make it even faster, and he will not shut up about how cool This is the best computer you can buy at a low price and gives you a hard drive. All of these parts (listed below) work together to make a super computer at a reasonable price. All in all, everything cost a little over $730 (excluding the keyboard, mouse, and monitor). It is not necessary for me to purchase the monitor because I already have it). These other parts are also available here on Amazon, so it's pretty much a one stop shop. I have bought four of them It is only necessary to buy a separate VGA converter since I are only utilizing one VGA port in KVM, since I have only two DisplayPorts on my t40. Cheap converters don't work well, but the Startech ones do.
The 4x16GB dimm has been added, Ubuntu 20 is installed. The USB stick worked immediately when I booted to 04 from it. I was able to connect to NoMachine with no issues. I will need to contact Dell for cabling for adding another SATA drive.
The way it is is perfect.
It was excellent.
The price is awesome.
As a Linux power user, I can confirm that it runs flawlessly on Debian 10 / 11 (no additional drivers on another thumb drive) and I wanted to know if this includes Intel amt 12, which comes standard with Ubuntu 14. 04, arch centos, etc. There is a built-in kVM for those situations where you require it. As for me, I do not use windows at all, and I was able to enable KVM mode for Intel amt using mesh commander for free. Hope this helps someone else.
