The way I expected it to be! wanted to set up some powerful virtual machines for fun and experiment with some new operating systems, and this was the perfect server

Despite the excellent packaging, the server did not suffer any damage during delivery. BIOS, as well as firmware for the hardware was already updated to the latest revision which saved me time and energy (although I still double-checked). My goal was to recertify Thermal paste is applied to the CPUs, which I was surprised to find out was also done. Despite its age, the server looked (from the inside) and worked as good There were scratches and scuffs on the outside of the case due to normal wear and tear No major damage. A rack is prone to wear and tear. As far as plugging in was concerned, everything was ready I am playing. One thing I would like to point out is that if you want to add a graphics card that requires extra power, you will have to purchase the cable separately as it is not included. I am all- All in all I am very happy with my server, and I would highly recommend.

It was exactly what I was looking for. There are endless possibilities with this server in terms of VMs, containers, lxd, docker, and K3S. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to use enterprise iDRAC. I grabbed the "Platform Specific Bootable ISO, PER720, 20" however there was nothing else to do beyond adding hard drives. Support. Dell provided me with the "0" response. The company. Boot the DVD off of the ISO after it is burned to a DVD. I had him patch and upgrade every aspect of the server (all of which can be reversed if necessary). From there, it was just SSDs and a GPU (that could support up to two of the same card) and a CPU (any, any CPU The GTX 1080 is being used. It's a marvel to use it as a pass through for VMs. We also threw in 2 NVMe cards in PCI slots, considering getting another 2 in the FusionIO variety for optimal IOPS (though Samsung EVOs will get the job done just fine!). 1) All my data backups and snapshots are stored to a separate NAS with ZFS file system I There was no better addition to it than this. This item matches the description. I think this is a great deal. A VMware ESXi 7 server runs on the system. There was no issue with 0u2. I received exactly what I ordered. I'll definitely be doing business with this seller The recommended choice! There's no need to worry.
