I installed it and it came up right away without any "warming up. ". The tests are now taking two days instead of three after a week It takes 3 minutes for the screen to light up. My TV is 15 years old, and I'm not sure if the problem is with the TV or with In most cases, we don't notice that dimming for several I was impressed with both the packaging and the service. * Update * Today is 9/9/20. It was a light bulb that Little bits of glass were stuck to the bottom of the TV after it made a very loud noise, cracked the glass and caused a lot of damage. There was no damage found to anything else after I cleaned up. Thanks to a replacement that appears to be the same, the situation has been resolved. We must have a TV in the living room. In order to fix the problem, the blinking lights need to be addressed.
The package arrived very fast and was packed well. There were no damages to the package. Should I need another order, I would definitely make one.
The bulb blew out on my television, and when I replaced it with this bulb, it melted the plastic housing it attached to. Although the new bulb worked correctly, due to the melted tv housing, the new bulb caused the TV to display a spooky "scream" face when it goes into Tossing the television was the best decision we made. I would recommend the bulb I purchased, it works, and is suitable for the use I had in mind. Besides the excellent price, I also like the quality of the product.
Providing an update six months after the original review The following results after 8 weeks br />After approximately four weeks of use, the lamp becomes very slow to turn on - it takes two to three minutes to turn it on Taking 3 minutes for the screen to turn on was disappointing, and it was very dim when it did. There are also times when the screen will flicker, then go dim again for a few minutes, sometimes even going black entirely. It isn't uncommon for me to get a warning light that says the lamp is out on occasion. After a minute or two, I'll turn the TV on and it will come on again slowly, dimly, but then all the way up to full brightness within a few minutes. It takes about five minutes for the TV to be ready to watch. After that, it works fine until I turn off the TV. What's the point in going through all of this every time I watch TV if I can get a lamp for literally half the price of other options? In my case, probably, but only because I am a cheap bastard. Your mileage may vary. I agree - In its original form, this review read as follows The only thing is that I've only had it in I think so far it is looking good. It was easy to replace the lamp itself, but I had the most trouble getting the front panel off the television (which wasn't so hard).
We don't let you down! It's remarkable how easy it is to install and how high quality it is.
I'm extremely grateful for your kind words! This was the last time I had a replacement. The last unit I had was low quality from the start. It lasted 90 days before it had issues Despite the advent of new technology in 2009, your product is still running as it is brand new in 2014 and the picture quality is as crisp and clear as it was.
The 41-inch Sony Grand Vega monitor we still have 15 years after we bought it is still my favorite because of the sterling internal speakers, but I no longer have as much My first error in 2012 involved paying about $200 apiece for the "correct" lamp after the original burned out - until I took the lesson not to touch the lamp bare-handed. Written by hand. While I appreciate the low price on the replacement bulb, it is dim as noted by other Maybe before this lamp burns out I'll switch to the Phillips recommended the previous time. By the way, I had to purchase sound bars with our other new TVs because the original Sony TVs had poor sound.
I think it is better than other replacement bulbs I have used before. A brighter picture is definitely the result.
Amazing lamp. I love it a lot. An order I placed for a generic one turned out to be defective. In order to replace my TV with the original, I purchased the original. In about 10 minutes I had it installed and successfully saved my TV. It only took me a few minutes to get it working and start watching regularly again. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying to restore their television.
It's half the price of the original and it works just as well.
