Yes, the fan can be used while it is plugged in.
Yes, the charging indicator on the fan will change from red to green once it has been fully charged.
I was having the same problem, and none of the other responses were very helpful. A USB A to USB C cable is what you're looking for.

On the back, there's a professional sticker with a customer service email address in case you have any issues. At least, it appears that they stand behind their product. This fan is fantastic, and I will definitely purchase another one!
- I was not asked to write this review or bribed with Amazon gift cards (as some people claimed in the reviews here), I'm an avid reviewer who is very honest, and as a new mom, I wish I had known this fan was the best for a stroller! It has three speeds, all of which are powerful and quickly cool you down! Charging takes a while, but you can't expect to charge your iPhone in 30 minutes, unless you have one of those fast chargers. It receives a C- grade. a charging cable.
Small children should be kept at a distance. This is a great product, and I keep it on my bed to keep cool at night. It's quiet and surprisingly powerful for its size, and the large battery allows it to run on high for hours. The legs could be a little longer to better fit my application, but that could be a "me problem" because my bed has fairly thick posts. It is possible that your results will differ. In any case, I'm very pleased for the $25 I paid. So, why are there only two stars? This is referred to as a "stroller fan," implying that it is safe to have near small children. That does not appear to be the case, as there appears to be a serious choking hazard for small children. The small rubber feet on the ends of the legs are very easy to remove. They're small semi-spheres about the size of a quarter, and they've fallen out of my hands several times, including the first time I used them. It's not a matter of normal wear and tear. They were extremely sloppy when they arrived.
I couldn't find any information about the blade diameter or motor RPM, but it seems to work fine. Mounting it on a vertical pole (dual monitor mount arm) can be difficult at times, but once it's in place, it'll stay put. I haven't put this to the test yet, but it seems to work. Because of the battery's size, charging will take a long time. br>br>Will update this review in a few months (or whenever there is a failure) to attest to its durability.
I bought this for my baby and use it to hang on the headrest in front of his car seat as well as on his stroller. br>Because my baby's infant car seat is likely low (I have a Baby Trend infant car seat), I wouldn't put it directly on top of the baby's head because he may bump his head once he can pull himself up. br>br>BUT on the other hand, the part that can be picked up is just perfect; it can be used in almost any position. br>There are three speed/force settings. br>Slow, medium, and high are the three levels of difficulty. My toddler and I are unaffected by the pleasant air. br>Doesn't it just make a very low humm? Because it's a fan, it's normal. br>I originally intended for it to be red, but black works well as well.
- To the business: Make a red one for the kids to look at, with some LED lights in the fan blades. I'm going to get two more. ****** Update*********
It's still great! br>br> It's been at least a month since I received it, possibly longer. However, keep your distance from my 5-month-old baby's curious hands. He's managed to get his fingers stuck in the fan. br>It wasn't anything major, and he didn't even cry! br> I was frightened even more than he was. It was my fault because I didn't twist the legs properly and it fell halfway down from where I had placed it. This is how he got his hands on it.
We bought two of these (in black and light blue) to use with our children's stroller on our nightly walks in the Texas heat. They're not only lovely for that, but they're also great for laying on the ground or wrapping around an umbrella pole. br>br>Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
- The sturdy bendable legs give this fan a lot of flexibility. br>- The battery appears to be infinitely long-lasting. even when set to the maximum level It takes about 3 hours for them to charge to 100%. br>- I haven't used the phone charging feature yet, but I'm sure it's fine. br>- The front grill is child-safe, but the back section is wider. Because the blade is pliable, it should only cause a minor fright if it comes into contact with you.
- The front grill can be easily removed for cleaning.
- The fan is relatively quiet, even when turned up to maximum. Overall, a fantastic purchase. br>br> It's one of those things where you wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
Update: It's been a month since I've used it, and I don't recommend it. The fan has a lot of ups and downs. It will blow air out at times and not at others, but it will still be spiny if there is no air. br>It's simple to use and take with you. The only thing I don't like about it is how loose the legs are. It is not adjustable when it comes to standing, but it is bendable. When you stand it up, you must open it all the way or it will not stand. It can be wrapped around anything because it is bendable. The fan is equally powerful. Level 1 is weak; you can feel the wind, but it isn't very strong. To get a true sense of it, turn it up to level 2 or 3. It's only ok.
The blades stop spinning if you plug it in to charge it. The fan works perfectly when unplugged after a while. I was hoping to be able to use it in the car to blow on my dog in the back seat without having to worry about charging it. I used to have a fan that I could just plug into a USB port and it would keep running. br>br>On the plus side, it is relatively quiet and moves air well for such a small fan. Just make sure it's fully charged before you use it!.
This summer, we purchased it for our newborn baby. The fan moves a lot of air, I like how it can charge my phone, and the battery life has been excellent for the first month of use. The legs were a drawback. They're made from a foam-covered rod that's fairly thick. It is mounted on a pivoting base, with the pivots doing the spreading and the legs bending for all other movements. The foam is thin and not long enough for the legs. After two weeks of light use, it peeled off both ends. Following that, the leg broke in no time because the bend occurred repeatedly at the exposed spot at the very top. I wish the mounting was better constructed, or I'd have to use one of the clip mounts. Although it does not provide as much mobility, it is likely to be more durable.
