Sorry, I'm not sure if it's an OEM product, but after a few years of use, we're still using it. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.
Please keep in mind that APC does not manufacture batteries. They purchase a variety of batteries, put them together in a RBC configuration, and apply an APC sticker to them. Even on Genuine units, peeling off the sticker reveals a plethora of different brands. The only way to tell if it's a genuine APC batt is if it has a white 1 on it. The serial number and date code for the battery are printed on a 5" x 5" sticker. The year is represented by the third and fourth digits, while the week is represented by the fifth and sixth digits. QS1420 is the result of this. is a unit from 2014 that is in its 20th week. br>We buy a lot of these, and many of them are over 6 months old and are returned, whether they are genuine or not.

why? In my house, I have several SMT1500 UPS systems, and I recently replaced all of the batteries. I created a like-for-like comparison chart. Replace your old APC RBC7 batteries with these brand new APC RBC7 batteries. They used to come with a return label for proper recycling, which was unfortunate in the past. That intelligence no longer exists, making properly disposing of the old battery a much more difficult task. I understand that shipping them isn't cheap, but they should have partnered with an environmentally conscious service. It's possible that the Federal Reserve will intervene.
