Yes. When AC power is restored, it is distributed to all of the plugs and the battery is charged at the same time. If AC power fails again, the battery will continue to provide power until it is drained, even if it is not fully charged.

Everything went according to plan: I powered it up and plugged it into my Synology NAS, which recognized it right away. I unplugged the battery from the power outlet after charging it, and all of my devices (network gear, Synology NAS) continued to function normally. After 10 minutes, the Synology software correctly detected "safe mode" and shut itself down. The network router and modem can run for well over an hour, so even if the power goes out, I won't be without Internet for long. br>br>Now for the bad news. br>br>This UPS produces a lot of heat. pitch noise, also known as "coil whine," with a frequency range of bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz click- bzzzzz- click". I bought two of these and they're a waste of money. STAY AWAY if you have a weak sense of hearing. This thing is constantly humming. Once you've plugged it in, turn it off. Because of this problem, I ordered a replacement, but the second one had the same humming and electric noise, which appears to be a problem with APCs known as "coil whine. " It really irritates me. They also appear to be refurbished on both packages, despite the fact that they were purchased as new and shipped directly from APC. I bought it almost entirely for the ability to turn it off. I've been using APC products for decades, and they've all lasted me a long time with the exception of battery replacements. This one appealed to me because it can be turned off when the battery is running low. Even though I've never tested it for that long, it claims to get 261 minutes of runtime on the load I use it for. I know it's silent, but I'm not sure how long it'll last during a power outage.

This is a form I enjoy. The BX series, on the other hand, is far superior to the flatter power-supply-supply-supply-supply-supply-supply In the BackUPS series, there is a strip style. The information on the LED screen can be used to diagnose issues such as how many watts your computer/monitor/etc is drawing when it is idle or asleep. The battery is larger, and the outlets are arranged in such a way that connecting a PC desktop and various accessories is much easier.
