If the (blue) rollers jam or don't pick up papers, it's time for a replacement. It is time to replace the transfer roller if the prints are marked or have patterns. The ink will smudge on the page if the fuser itself does not get hot enough to bond the toner powder to the There are only a few general rules of thumb. The picture is not entirely complete. In addition to the parts in the kit, it is possible to need to replace other components to solve issues with paper jamming or pickup.
For its fuser, the P4015X uses part number CB506 instead.

Our HP LaserJet 4100TN's fuser was broken, so we replaced it. I don't owe anything to that machine at the moment, as it is a real workhorse. Yet replacing a fuser on a workgroup printer will cost you far more than purchasing a new one. In my view, these are 'wear' items, little different from replacing the brakes in your vehicle. The only problem is that your printer will need to be replaced after a while and/or after enough printing. My main part fit perfectly, and instructions on HP's website were clear and easy to follow. The replacement roller was too large for my printer, so I was unable to use it - the rod at the end was too large. There is some As can be seen in the image below, the one on my printer starts out the same diameter as the one I replaced, but then shrinks Rubber picks also proved to be of mixed success for me- • rollers that go up Though they were easily replaced, the outer part of the roller got slipping and didn't grab the paper properly, even though they were keyed to the driving shaft. My test kit came with multiple rollers, and I was able to reproduce the problem. There was no operator error in replacement, as when I replaced the originals with similar instructions, they began working again. For that reason, if you're looking for a fuser which fits a HP Laserjet 4100/TN, here it is. From 2017 to The Update for the week of February 5th is A fuser with 200,000 pages and at least eight years of service originally Despite the fact that it was replaced after 9 months and a fraction of the pages, the fuser failed totally. The paper was torn into shreds like a shredder as plastic shards were ejected from the fuser. If you decide that $80/year is worth it to keep a workgroup printer running, you have my blessing. I have ordered a replacement. We will see if it has a longer shelf life.
As soon as the fuser arrived, we noticed a spring and black plastic part had separated from it. In the end, we were able to fix the issue once we figured out where it needed to be attached. There are no explanations for this, but if it wasn't for it, we would have given 100% FIVE (5) stars. We installed the kit correctly after following the instructions and thoroughly inspecting the unit. The parts looked good and the packaging was professional. Currently, the printer is running well.
I would recommend both this unit as well as this company because they delivered a product that was exactly what we ordered on the date they stipulated upon receiving.
Maintaining this printer will be one of our priorities as long as we can get It prints copies with paper and ink for less than 2 cents each. Several of the printers we have had cost only eight cents per copy, and most of them break after only a couple thousand copies.
Using this kit and some elbow grease, it was able to print as if it were brand new. The quality of this kit is excellent A few reams later, everything continues to go as smoothly as it did at the beginning of the report.
The HP OEM maintenance kit was what I had intended to purchase. Even though it uses the same model number and description as the HP OEM C8057A kit, this is clearly not the HP OEM This printer or similar printer fit the target printer (except that the pick-up/drop-off The up rollers were a bit difficult to fit and had to almost be pushed into place) but they fixed the print issues we were experiencing, but this is NOT an.
Prior to my printer's failure, I had no idea that I had to get so many of these things replaced. My first option was to do it from my home but now I can do it quickly and easily for a reasonable price and receive it fast.
In this case, I was buying for someone who needed to repair a printer instead of buying a new one, so cost was a real concern. It took a technician to install the printer, but now it works perfectly.
The software has been installed and is working.
