Altru Print RM1-6405-MK-AP Deluxe Maintenance Kit for HP Laserjet P2035 / P2055 (110V)

I worked with the tech support team to resolve the issue and the RMA was issued. Arrival of new unit is scheduled for 7 days from now. The fuser assembly made a really bad grinding noise, so tech support suggested that it would be best to replace the old gears with the new gears to see if that would resolve the The grinding noise did decrease after doing that, but not by much, suggesting that the fuser assembly may be the cause of the Replaced the fuser assembly with the old one and no grinding was present with either the old gears or the gears on The fuser I received looked like it was new or at least a freshly refurbished unit. It appeared there was less resistance in the fuser sleeve roller when it was turned by the gear (out of the printer) than when I turned it by hand. On this unit, the springs that apply pressure to the rollers are arranged in two identical arrays, so perhaps the tension spring was incorrectly configured. While printers seem to be functional, they sounded like a thrashing machine with bad hair days. Having technical support as a customer is a great experience. It was easy to contact them and they handled the replacement unit with no hassle. Hopefully, the replacement will be better than the original. It was equipped with everything needed to pick up paper - rollers and other items. We have included detailed instructions on how to replace every component. That was nice of you. The no-hassle aspect as well as their willingness to provide support makes me highly likely to order from them again.

Now that we have re-tightened everything, the printer is louder and prints a lot MAKE SURE YOU DON'T TAKE A RISK! The star rating for this should be ZERO.

During this repair, the problem was resolved within two days. I then noticed that the print had gone completely dark for no apparent reason. The toner changed but did not change anything. There was a problem with one of the exchanged parts. There is a new printer on the way. As a component of the purchase price of a new (refurbished, same model) printer, the cost of this Kit is included.
