Do you know what's amusing? It's strange that you asked that question here, and it's even stranger that I have a direct response for you. My nephew frequently brings his Xbox S over, but he never brings his cable; instead, he uses the one that came with my printer. The Epson 2600 Series is a line of printers manufactured by Epson. It works. It's why I'm here, buying a spare so he doesn't have to rely on the Epson cable. What a hoot.
This cord is compatible with all versions of the Xbox One S. You'll need a power brick in addition to this cord if you don't have the newer "S" version; it also fits the Xbox One X. That was the issue I was having. For my Xbox One and PS4 Pro, I needed a new cable. This isn't going to work in either of those cases. Which one is better? br>br> Because it says PS4 Slim and Xbox One S/X in the title. So all I had to do was pay closer attention while reading. I had no idea that not all PS4/Xbox consoles used the same type of cable. Amazon quickly processed my refund request, and I was able to purchase the correct cable.
I purchased a second power cable for my Xbox One X to leave at my boyfriend's house when I visit for long weekends or holidays. I didn't want to rip up all of my cable organization, so buying this replacement cable seemed like a better option than trying to reroute my power/hdmi cables every time I wanted to move my xbox. I don't notice any strange performance issues or extra heat because of the power cable.
Mostly. This cable is the right shape for the plug hole on my Xbox One X, so it fits. However, the end appears to be just a tad too small to hold in place. br>br>Cables like this are held in place by friction alone, but this one isn't very strong. Any movement of the Xbox causes the cable to begin to pull out, and any movement of the cable causes it to fall out completely. br>br>However, it works well as long as you don't touch it.
I got tired of having to disconnect the power and HDMI in my home office every time I wanted to take my PS4, so I bought another HDMI cable as well as this power cable. I used it over the Thanksgiving holiday and had no problems with it. It's nice to have something like this and not have to worry about disconnecting my more permanent cables.

Works as a replacement for my other cord, which mysteriously vanished at a friend's house; these cord works flawlessly and is even better because I can have my Xbox further from the power port. br>br>Even if I didn't lose my last, I would buy a cord-like these just to add a bit more length that I needed before I bought these cord. br>br>I would recommend it to anyone who needs.
Since day one, I've had a very loose power connector on my Xbox One X, which would always fall out of the power socket at the slightest wiggle, but I figured that was just how Xboxes are because I'm a first-time owner. This cable was purchased in order for me to relocate my Xbox from my living room to my bedroom. IT FIT PERFECTLY, and I felt the weight of two years of my own mistakes fall on me. I've never looked back since then (at least, that's what I've tried to do). In my living room, I even purchased a second cable to replace the original.
