The QIFGUO network cable is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). PVC of high quality, capable of withstanding temperatures of 180°F. At least 20 times, bend to a 90-degree angle. Within the home, it can withstand at least 3000 normal plugs and unplugs. br>In regards to the buyer's report of plastic parts fractures in Review, I assume that their long-term stability is the cause. The plastic parts of the RJ45 interface will quickly age and become brittle, making them easy to break if exposed to the outdoors for an extended period of time. br>While our cable wire can be used outdoors, we do not recommend directly plugging the network cable into the ground, as this will not only shorten the life of our products but also damage the routing equipment connected to the network cable. br>I sincerely hope that my response will be of assistance to you.br>QIFGUO
Dear Client: Thank you for your inquiry! br>br> br>br>First, cut the RJ45 cable connector, then rip the PVC jacket off the cable to reveal the four pairs of aluminum foil-wrapped wires. Selected User Reviews For Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 50 ft Internet Network LAN Cable High Speed 2000Mhz 40Gbps RJ45 Cables for Gaming, Xbox, PS4, Modem, Router - Compatible for Cat7/Cat6e/Cat5e Network - White
For normal speeds, similar to Cat5, this is a good transmission. However, if you have a true 10Gbe network, these will not suffice. When I used this cable instead of the other, my speeds were cut in half. A Cat6A cable is used to connect two computers together. I also tested it on a network attached storage (NAS) server. My read and write speeds decreased from 900/900 to 100/200. Maybe it was a faulty cable, I reasoned. I was fortunate enough to buy two. Unfortunately, I tested the other one and got the same result. According to my research, Cat8 does indeed operate at higher frequencies with greater bandwidth, but certification and testing appear to be hit-or-miss in comparison to the tried-and-true Cat6a. If you have a 10Gbe network and want to use it in your home, Cat6a is the way to go. If you're going Cat8, you can spend a little more money on certified/tested cables.
Two out of five stars. I've tried a number of different ports and switches. This cable will not connect at multi-gigabit speeds, and if it does connect at gigabit speeds, it will quickly revert to fast Ethernet 100mbps. In a nutshell, I find it useless. The cable mounts were an excellent addition. However, I'd prefer to have a working cable without the mounts because they, like the cable, end up being useless. (br>br>UPDATE: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: UP br>br>I received two responses from the seller, both of which offered to PAY ME TO REMOVE THE NEGATIVE COMMENT. All ten of my thumbs would be pointing downwards if I had ten of them.
I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the 100-foot cable and had no problems installing it; however, I ordered this one and spent the day running it neatly along my 10-foot ceiling from my television to my router, only to discover that there is no signal. Now I must dismantle everything. Argh! However, given how well the 100-foot cable works, this is most likely a one-time occurrence. It's still a pain to have to re-enter your information. do, tho.
I have Verizon Fios gigabit internet and two E3200 extenders, as well as the G3100 router. In my foyer, the technician connected the ONT to the router with cat5e cable. I'm still not getting the gigabit speeds that were promised to me. With Verizon FIOS, however, it's a whole different story. When they come over tomorrow, hopefully that will be resolved. Now it's time for me to give you my opinion. I purchased three ethernet cables - A different vendor sells cat 6, 7, and 8. This CAT 8 - is a type of catalytic converter. Despite the fact that I was told I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, 15 FT outperformed the others. I was able to achieve a speed of 103/97 megabits per second. With the cat 6, I was able to hardwire 46/32 to the router. The moral of the story is that I'm going back to this vendor and asking the Verizon Technician to replace the 5e cable he installed between the ONT and the router with this CAT 8 ethernet cable.
I chose CAT 8 to connect the various devices in my home. I'm only using 1 Gbps, so I can't speak to their full performance, but the cables are well-made and reliable. They are reasonably priced for the materials used in their construction, and I expect them to last a long time.
I replaced it with a cat 5e cable that I had lying around. My eero mesh system and spectrum modem have resulted in a significant increase. There are pictures of the before and after.
This is an excellent solid Ethernet cable with superfast speeds. I needed an ethernet cable to go with my new gigabit internet connection, and this appeared to be the right fit. br>br>My average WiFi speeds were 200-300 Mbps. 300 Mbps, but with this Cat8 Ethernet, I can consistently get well over 900 Mbps upload and download.
I haven't checked the speeds or anything because I don't use this cable for gaming. I easily set it up and clipped the wire in snugly along the wall and doorway for TV apps like Netflix and Prime, and it works well. So far, everything appears to be in good working order.
