Yes, mine is missing it as well, which I didn't realize until I read this. However, I have had no problems. I click the mouse to turn it back on if it goes off.
Connect the UBS plug to your port, just like a wireless mouse, keyboard, or other device.
Yes. The number pad is very useful. I use it on a daily basis at work.

I'm really impressed with how well the mouse and 10-foot mousepad work together. key work. They're both slim, so unlike many other models, they're not as tall as your laptop keyboard. The only drawback is that the mouse and keyboard do not have an off switch, so I have to remove the batteries whenever I travel so that the buttons do not get pressed constantly in my bag. I kept the box and simply put everything in it, taking batteries in and out whenever I travel.
It does the job, but I agree with others that it has a cheap feel to it, and the lack of an on/off switch is inconvenient. I'll try another idea of keeping batteries separate in the original box so they don't need to be replaced as frequently. Battery compartments are difficult to open, and if you can't find it, the dongle is hidden inside the battery case for the number keypad; Both devices are controlled by the same person. On the number keypad, there is a backspace key, but no "clear" button, which would be extremely helpful. So, this set does what it's supposed to do, but it's not great, and I don't think it's worth fifteen dollars; for what you get, it should be closer to eight dollars.
it has been updated 11br>I received the mouse and keypad in a timely manner. Simple but effective; mouse covers a large area with scrolling wheel; super low profile mouse (optical) works well; low profile is a nice change from the large wrist support mouse, but it may not be ergonomically sound in the long run. Mouse is nimble and precise in his movements. The keyboard is of average quality and is comfortable to use, with padded feet on the front, but it may require adhesive to keep it in place on the desktop. br>br>I was annoyed when, like everyone else with a laptop and no number keypad, I needed this for work. Because I first opened the mouse battery compartment and saw the usb dongle opening with no dongle, I assumed it was missing. I forgot to look at the keypad. I contacted the seller and requested a no-hassle return. Within 24 hours, the seller had contacted me and offered his assistance. I discovered the dongle in the battery compartment of the keypad. I canceled my flight and wrote this review in its place. There are better quality items for more money, but I recommend this keypad/mouse combo and am pleased with the prompt response, so I gave it a 5 for truth in advertising, good price, good value, and so on. My only suggestion is to put a sticker or notification on where to find the USB dongle, or include it with the order summary. I primarily wrote this review so that I could use the word dongle. Dongle, dongle, dongle, dongle, dongle, dongle, dongle, dongle, don.
It's ideal. Full disclosure: I'm a big fan of it. This is low-cost garbage. With the words in the plastic, there is a spot for an off switch. However, there is no way to turn it off. This is Chinese garbage at its most basic level. So, here's my take on it: br>br>Covid- br>br> br>br>haha, I could literally leave it there and some would get it, but for the rest of you, the virus forced all four of my children to miss school. When they reopened, we had the option of learning online from the comfort of our own homes. We took it because I don't want my kids in school to have to deal with even more stress and crap than they already do, AND in our county, school is only 2 days a week for secondary and 4 days a week for elementary. br>br>This year, my 5-year-old started kindergarten, and his lessons were put online and he was given a Chromebook. Now, I think of my son as a genius, as do I'm sure all parents do, but have you ever met a 5-year-old who could navigate a touchpad flawlessly? So it's not like me. I ordered this flimsy number pad and mouse so he could get used to doing his own work rather than relying on Daddy to do the majority of the pointing and clicking. Because the numbers are above the keys on that tiny Chromebook, and he's learning the keyboard, the number pad is ideal for doing Xtramath. br>br>Best of all, if it breaks, it'll only cost you a few bucks. br>br>I used the cheap Rayovac yellow batteries from Big Lots, and they've lasted since September 13th with daily use. He's dropped them, popped the mouse's case off, and once the keypad became stuck in some papers and flew across the room. br>br>It's still working. br>br>As a result, there are times when cheap trash is the best option. Adults, on the other hand, will pick them up and mistake them for toys.
The wireless mouse and keypad worked fine; I plugged the USB dongle into a Windows 10 laptop and it connected without a hitch; mouse tracking wasn't quite as precise as I'd like, but it wasn't bad. For about two weeks, it worked fine, but after that, the mouse scroll wheel stopped working. The circuit board's soldering was mediocre at best. As a result, a couple of pins are only partially soldered in place. I fixed them, but the mouse was still not working properly. It wasn't worth wasting any more time fiddling with the set because it was so cheap. I simply threw it out and replaced it with a better mouse and keypad.
I bought three of these mice for a total of ten dollars ten dollars ten dollars ten dollars ten dollars In the last few months, I've purchased three key combinations for various setups in my home/office, and this one was the cheapest of the three. It seems to work fine, but it lacks the sturdiness of the more expensive models. The mouse does not track as well as some of the more expensive mice across all surfaces. In fact, the mouse wouldn't work unless I had a gleaming black plastic surface. On a piece of non-sticky paper, it didn't work. It didn't stick to my glossy black cardboard, and it didn't stick to the surface of my glossy wood table. The mouse will occasionally jump to the screen's corner. This is not something that the more expensive ones do. It'll suffice if you need to save $10, but I'd rather spend the extra $10 on a better set.
It's perfect for what it's supposed to be used for. I'm very pleased with this item for the price and the limited use it receives. It's incredibly light and does the job well. It is not a standard ten-key setup, which can be confusing at first, and the mouse does have a place to turn it on and off but no button for doing so. If you're looking for a low-cost item to use for a short period of time, this is the item for you. I would recommend upgrading to the next price point if you will be using this item on a regular basis for an extended period of time.
