I tested it on both my retron 5 and Super NT computer and it worked fine
I find it to be fine. The DPad on one of my 8bitdo controllers I own gives me problems when it comes to pressing multiple unwanted directions simultaneously, such as if you hold down, but press right, and vice versa. I have not noticed those issues on this one. Despite the improvements in the controller dpads, the original version still has a superior feel.
This controller works with my Super NT, so if your RDP has a snes controller slot, it will work with this controller.
It is true. SNES and NES games work well on it, and you can pair it with the Switch. When you first pair it, it can be a bit finicky, but once it is paired, it works well.
