I bought it to clean my keyboard, but I'm not going near it with the gel. It's more like slime than a cohesive blob, and kneading it for 10 minutes makes it even slimier. With only 15 seconds to prepare it, I ended up with sticky, difficult-to-clean hands. I tried both containers and got the same result; it would probably make a fun slime toy for kids, but that's it.
What a MESS opening the jar and getting the product out, PROBLEM! The product sticks to your hand like wet bubble gum, and you can't use it because it's all stuck to your fingers. You can't even touch your cellphone to take a picture because the product is stuck to your fingers. Take it with your left hand, but it's too wet to use. It will adhere to your vehicle and be difficult to remove. THESE WERE MADE IN CHINA. If the ingredients aren't clean, it could contain cancer-causing substances.
It's my first time using a cleaning gel like this, and I'm happy to report that it's very effective. The biodegradable cleaning gel comes with clear instructions. If you're a first-time user, like me, it's a good idea to read the instructions first. I used to think "gel" was strange, but once you get used to it, it's great for cleaning, and the gel is fascinating and amusing. I tried it on my laptop and keyboard, and it worked perfectly; my keyboard now looks brand new. It's a fantastic product, and I'll most likely purchase it again.
I've been hooked on Cleaning Joy since I got it for 99 cents. It's great for electronics and vents, but it can also be used for a variety of other things. It's ideal for car detailing. I've cleaned the outsides of carved cuckoo clocks, ornate picture frames, and whatever else comes to mind. It's not messy if you follow the directions, which include storing the gel in a cool place when not in use and kneading it with dry hands before using it. Simply knead it again if it sticks to your fingers. It's also critical to use caution when cleaning. Press and lift, then repeat until the surface is clean. It's not only a pleasure to use, but it's also a lot of fun!.
It performs as expected. The thickness could be improved; once removed from the jar, you must immediately begin rolling it around in your hands or it will become a sticky mess. You won't have any problems if you follow that advice. I used one jar to clean my entire dash, console, and door inserts, and I was able to reuse it later. The second jar I ordered is still sitting in my pantry, ready to be used. It's very simple to clean and leaves no residue.
I recently ordered this product to clean my mechanical keyboard, but I'm glad I didn't use it because I immediately noticed something was wrong with it. Even getting it off my hands is a challenge for me. My hands were essential bound by this viscous nightmare after "kneading" it according to the directions. Thank goodness my keyboard vacuum came with a cleaning gel that did exactly what it said it would. This is something you should avoid.
I was unable to use it. There were no differences between the two jars. It was impossible to form a ball and kneel it. It had a slimy, sticky, and stringy texture to it. I couldn't keep it in my hands because it kept sliding between my fingers. It's a good thing I didn't put it on my computer's keys! I had some difficulty returning it to the jar. My fingers were still smeared with it. After washing my hands with soap, I was able to remove it.
My son's keyboard had become dusty, and he requested that it be cleaned with this. I initially mistook him for a lunatic. I said slime, but how is that going to clean your keyboard? This stuff is incredible. It really does resemble children's slime, and it also feels like it. It has a strong suction power, adheres well to the keys, and is easy to remove with no residue. It's simple to use: simply place the cleaner between the keys and lightly press down on them to remove it. I've also used it to clean the vehicles' cracks and crevices. Because it's so thick, it can be reused several times. This is also a great price because you get two containers.
