If you're still archiving data or audio on disc media, Verbatim DataLifePlus with the blue "AZO" dye is the only way to go. I've heard that Taio Yuden is also good, but I've always preferred Verbatim. br>br>As a side note, this product has no label on the top (non-branded). surface to read I usually buy silver inkjet printable discs, but I hadn't ordered any in a long time and ended up with these instead. They both do the same job, but I believe the inkjet surface provides an extra layer of protection (and is better for sharpie labeling). or inkjet printing, for that matter!.

This pack has been verified as truly Verbatim/Mitsubishi using CD identification software (which many Verbatims aren't anymore). On the writing side, the color is a deeper greenish blue than on the non-writing side. Verbatims from DataLifePlus. These appear to be good after writing a few, but I won't know how long they'll last (no coasters, anyway). This tape wrap pack has both a major and minor flaw in my opinion. The main difference is that the disc edges are not as smooth as those on branded ("Verbatim" printed on the CD) discs. These, on the other hand, are less expensive than branded spindle ones. My minor gripe was mentioned in another review a while back: When held up to the light, these discs can be seen through (the branded ones cannot). This leads me to believe that their protective coating isn't as thick as ours.

It's suitable for music CDs. I was looking for an Azo dye blank CD when I came across this. br>However, the packaging was appalling. When you take it off, it stays sticky. It does not have any printing on the top of the CD media. (metallic silver with no color).

There are no issues with the CDs. The shipping is quick – really quick – but the packaging isn't great. I've ordered these before and they've always arrived with one or both cases busted. So far, the CDs have been unaffected, but dealing with a broken spindle and base is inconvenient.
