Only the top half is magnetic, and the bottom half is hanging, so the adhesion isn't very strong.
It's also thin enough that I can close my MacBook Air (20) without difficulty, which is excellent value for money.
It perfectly fits my 2012 MacBook Pro, and most importantly, when I'm forced to use my computer all day (I'm in nurse anesthesia school), I don't see floaters any longer. It does a good job with the privacy feature, but my favorite part about it is that I'm no longer seeing those annoying floaters. I strongly advise it.
It was a piece of cake to put this on. The matte is my favorite because it is so easy on the eyes and reduces 100% strain. This is far superior to using a screen cover that is adhered to the screen. This was money well spent. There are no bubbles, and you can't apply or replay anything. Simply put on your work clothes and get to work! The only point I'd make is that people can still see your work at 60 degrees to your right or left, but unless you're a frequent public worker, I'd buy it!.
Only the top of the magnets is attached. The bottom of the pyramid is a complete failure. It's not bad, but it's inconvenient.
When I first read the filter's reviews, I was a little skeptical. I figured returns were for that, so I kept moving on the screen. I'm not sure if they changed the construction or something, but this thing clings to my screen so tightly that it prevents the top of my MacBook from closing properly when I fold it up. It also does a great job of keeping people from looking at my screen from the side, and I can't think of anything I'd change about it.
This is how it goes. It doesn't even come close to delivering on its name. The screen is visible and mostly readable even at 60 degrees. The screen can be seen and images can be discerned even at 100 degrees. It might keep your flight seatmate from becoming too engrossed in your screen, but it won't stop them from looking at what you're doing. br>br>At the bottom of some reviews, there are references to adhesion issues. Except when the laptop screen is less than 90 degrees open, I haven't had this problem. Which it is almost never (if ever) when in use.
Nobody is looking over my shoulder in class anymore to see what I'm writing. This allows me to see my screen clearly while giving the impression that it is turned off from the side.
