After two weeks of use on my 16" Macbook Pro, the tabs that hold the cover in place separated the screen from the aluminum cover. It's a waste of money to purchase this product.
Pros: br>There is no longer any strain in the eyes. It transforms your monitor into a kindle-like experience. br>It guards against scratches and other types of damage to your screen.
Cons: br>Be careful when installing it because the adhesive weakens with each removal to adjust it, so try to get it right the first time. br>It attracts dust like a magnet. Even if you thoroughly cleaned your screen and this product, dust will still fly to it during installation, resulting in trapped dust between the screens. If this happens, carefully peel back one corner if possible and try to remove the dust; I was successful in doing so. If at all possible, install this in a dust-free environment to make things easier.
That's all I've got to say on the subject. It took a few tries to get this screen protector to fit properly. However, I'm using it on a 15-inch Macbook Pro from 2015 with wider bezels. In any case, this is a good tight fit around the screen that allows for proper exposure of the video camera and sensors. Despite the fact that it appears to block some blue light, I still required a pair of blue-blocking sunglasses. The anti-glare glasses helped to reduce the glare to the point where my eyes were no longer sensitive, and the anti-glare glasses helped to prevent my eyes from becoming too sensitive. Glare isn't always a bad thing. Depending on the lighting situation, I notice only a minor difference in glare. My own reflection appears to be the only thing that has been reduced. In addition, the screen appears to develop air bubbles or tarnish spots, which I am not willing to risk removing.
For our MacBook Pro, we used a glare and blue-light filter. It has made a significant difference in terms of eye fatigue and overall screen viewing comfort. Unlike other screen protectors, this one does not dim or reduce the brightness. The screen protector was the primary reason for purchasing it. The extra items were not used because they did not fit or did not stay in place.
To begin with, the screen on the new MacBook Air M1 isn't particularly bright. As a result of using this product, I increased the brightness, causing the battery to drain more quickly. br>I removed it.
Everything is in good working order. It was very simple to apply and reposition the screen cover. There are no air bubbles or anything stuck beneath the surface.
It appears to be sturdy and will provide adequate protection for my display. Two layers of film, on the other hand, are applied to it. The first is the blue filter, which I believe should be left on; the second is the red filter, which I believe should be turned off. The other is a protective layer that must be removed in order to expose the adhesive side. After I couldn't get the blue filter to stick to the screen, I removed the other film, which had a tag on it and the instructions said to pull the tab, and it stuck to my macbook m1 screen with no problems. So my screen is well protected, but there is no blue filter. Only one of the two films should be removed, according to the instructions.
br>So far, it has proven to be very effective in the fight against bacterial infections. anti-UV light and blue light glare. br>br>I also used the track pad protector that came with the screen protector, and it works fine. The only issue is that the key board protector does not fit my 16" macbook pro, despite the packaging sticker indicating that it is for a "macbook pro 16. " I'm guessing the sticker was applied incorrectly to the wrong keyboard protector model. br>br>However, the products are well-packaged and of excellent quality! br>Because the keyboard protector and track pad protector are extras, it's fine if the keyboard protector doesn't fit; however, it would be preferable if it did!.
