There is no need to be concerned. I take it to work every day and don't take it off when I wash my hands. I only take it off when I'm at home. It appears that the ring is identical. The metal didn't tarnish in any way. But, to be fair, I've only had it for about two weeks. In the end, we'll never know.

It's also not too heavy or bulky because the back of the ring (behind the croissant) is hollow, which is nice, and the gold color isn't too yellow, so it looks nicely toned down. I've had it on for a few weeks and it hasn't turned or turned my finger green, but I'll let you know if it does!.
This is the type of croissant ring I was looking for, and it's perfect! I've seen a similar design on several websites, but this one is the most affordable and still looks nice; unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size and had to return it. Then I discovered that it gives me a refund without requiring me to return the item. I'm just really sorry for that, so I figured I'd at least leave a comment and express my feelings.
The ring itself is fine, but it is an entire size smaller than it should be. I would suggest going up a size.
When not in use, the ring was stored in a jewelry bag. The ring's entire bottom has turned red and rusted in appearance.
Since buying it (about a month ago), I've used it 5 days a week. When I wash my hands, I try to remove it (but I don't always because I'm in public or lazy). Or simply forget about it). This ring was a little too big for me, so I ordered a smaller size and began the return process! They returned my money and advised me to keep the ring! Amazing! I will purchase from them in the future.
This was for a trip where I didn't want to bring any valuable jewelry with me. It looks great and is exactly the right size for me. It's a little heavy, but it's pleasant to wear. The gold tone is extremely realistic, as well as stylish and contemporary. However, after a week of near-constant use on my trip, it is showing signs of wear, losing color, and being scratched. I liked it a lot, but I wish it could last longer. If you do decide to buy one, be gentle with it.
