Questions & Answers

Is this watch suitable for a small wrist (5 3/4"- 5 1/2")? 6")?

This watch's and band's interior dimensions are approximately 6. 5 in. I have a wrist that is about the same size as yours, and I wear it two times a day. Approximately 5 to 3 inches On the arm, it's a little bit higher up. It will be too big unless you raise it or remove links.

Is it possible to use the battery to revive an indiglo light that has started to fade?

Yes, a fresh battery can revive an indiglo light that has faded. I've had this watch for more than 30 years and simply replace the battery when the light starts to fade. Bingo- wach has been restored to its original state.

Is your wrist a little short?

Yes, I have a small wrist, and I believe Amazon combines reviews for a variety of products that are very similar. On Amazon, there's a watch that looks exactly like this but has a "standard" wrist band; I got the "small" length and it's perfect for my wrist - My wrist is quite small. 6" or less is the minimum size. I am extremely pleased because 90 of all watches have longer bands and as a result they are too long for me. This can be found by searching for "small wrist watch" on Amazon. You can find all watch band lengths by simply searching for ladies wrist watch.

Is it possible to remove some of the links for someone with a small wrist?

No, I don't believe that is the case. The instructions apply to a variety of watches, and the instructions for removing links apply to watches that have pins. There are no pins on this item. My wrist is quite small, so the band is a little loose for me. I just got the watch and I think it's nice for the price. It's not too loose to wear, but it's not quite as tight as I'd like.

For nearly two decades, this has been my favorite
5/5

My favorite timepiece is this one. For the past 17 years, I've worn this watch. When one watch wears out, I replace it with one that is identical. My first one was from Walmart, and I've since purchased a few more from Amazon. I've had each watch for about 5 to 7 years, and I'm a watch snob. I've been working out a lot lately, and I've been sweating a lot at work. So I wash my watch every day with soap and water, and I was concerned that with all of this wear and tear, this waterproof watch would eventually stop working. As a result, I needed to purchase a second one as a backup. I was unable to locate this watch anywhere other than on Amazon. It does not appear to be for sale any longer. The watch is attractive, the gold is a beautiful color, and it is simple to read. When you turn the setting knob in, a blueish light (Indiglo) illuminates the watch, making it easy to read in dim light. Because I have small wrists, all other watch bands I've tried slide down to my hand; however, this watch band stays in place and is comfortable. If you have a larger wrist, you might want to get a different watch band to wear with this one. This watch band is perfect for me, and the watch itself keeps accurate time, is easy to read, feminine and attractive, and can withstand a beating. I tried on one of those fitness watches, but it was too expensive, too ugly, too dark, and too uncomfortable to wear. This Timex watch is one of my favorites.

Except for the date, it was an attractive watch at first
3/5

Mom adores the watch, but the date is nearly impossible to read. The rest of the watch is Easy Reader, but the date is so small that she has to read it with a magnifier. There are also no instructions for setting the date. I looked up the manual online (using the model number "Timex Watch T2H3819J") and found the following instructions for setting the date: "PULL the crown to the "middle" position and turn it CLOCKWISE until the correct day appears. " If the day does not change, pull the crown to the "out" position and rotate CLOCKWISE or COUNTERCLOCKWISE for the required number of 24 hour periods until the correct day appears. " These are, in fact, instructions for any Timex watch, and they don't really help you figure out how to just set the date. Despite repeated attempts, the date does not correctly adjust. Every morning, it must be adjusted manually. It's a huge pain. br>br>Now, as of 5/1/2018 (less than 5 months after purchase), when Mom presses the Indiglo button, the light remains on and refuses to turn off, causing the battery to drain. This is a MASSIVE letdown.

The band is far too small for this watch
4/5

This watch was given to my partner as a Christmas gift. It's a very attractive watch, and I'm sure she'll enjoy wearing it in the future. The band is, unfortunately, quite small. To make sure I didn't buy a child's watch, I double-checked the item listing on Amazon. Nope. Timex seems to believe that all women have delicate wrists. br>br>As you can see in my photo, the band will be too tight if your wrists are much larger than a toilet paper tube. I mean, I know it's a stretch band, but it'll have to stretch to an uncomfortable, pinching size in order to fit, which means I'll have to spend more money on a larger watchband.

The watch is not sized to fit comfortably on an average or large wrist, but it is attractive
3/5

The text is simple to follow. However, as an expansion band, it fits well, but I have a medium-sized wrist and find it uncomfortable, as it fits very tightly on the wrist, and I frequently remove it when it pinches my skin. If you have a larger wrist, this watch is not for you, and if you have a smaller wrist but prefer a watch with more movement, this watch is not for you.

Made for a low price
3/5

I've been wearing Timex watches for nearly 50 years and am very satisfied with them. That is, until I made my most recent purchase. I bought an easy reader stretch band, and the gold coloring started to peel off after two or three months. One half of the band and dial is now silver, while the other is black. I believe that most people have this issue, but they were so eager to give it a positive review that they didn't give it enough time to see if any issues arose. Timex, you should be ashamed of yourself for producing such a subpar product; return to America, where products are made with integrity.

This is an excellent timepiece
5/5

This is an excellent entry-level timepiece. Even in a dimly lit room, the face is simple and easy to read. Has a used car that I drive to work every day. It's fashionable without being ostentatious, and it goes well with the rest of my jewelry. I found exactly what I needed:.

For everyday use, it's perfect
4/5

I would have given it five stars if the battery didn't work when I received it, so I had to return it. br>I didn't want to have to take out my phone to check the time, so I wanted a non-flashy watch that I could wear in some rough areas. Detailed description: It's not a flashy gold because it's not a bright, shiny gold. It's more like antique gold. Simple, easy to read, and lights up; small enough for my tiny tiny wrist My wrist circumference is 6 inches, and it fits well; it does not slide off, which is important to me. (It would also fit someone with a larger wrist, but bracelets and watches that don't slide off my wrist are hard to come by).

I really like this watch, but it's only for small wrists! My new Timex watch is fantastic! It's the perfect fit for my wrist
5/5

However, keep in mind that I have a small wrist and wear a size 7 bracelet. Before you buy this watch, make sure you have a small wrist. Otherwise, it will be too tight for you. I have a hard time finding watches that are small enough for me, so this one is perfect for me. It's an attractive timepiece. It also appears to be very accurate when it comes to timekeeping.
