I was ecstatic to receive this because I've been wearing Movado watches for nearly 20 years, ever since I came across my first one. So getting a smart watch and sticking with Movado was the perfect solution for me. br>br>Everything unboxed easily enough, but putting it on the charging station was a pain. With normal use and checking of messages, the battery lasted about 6 hours. The battery only lasted 11 hours when fully charged and left on the counter. br>br>I'm sure this watch is great for Android users who just want to wear it to dinner, but for Apple users, it's nothing more than a glorified pager. The watch was incapable of making or receiving calls. If I answered a call on my watch during an incoming call, the call was transferred to my phone's speaker and microphone. I wasn't able to respond to text or email messages. br>br>To say I was disappointed with this product's performance would be an understatement. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and get an Apple Watch to match the rest of the world's Starbucks drinkers.
I'm a movado fan, and this watch is well-made and has a very classy look that gives you an image of appreciation for a prestige look. The materials used appear to be of very high quality, and the gorilla glass face stands out among other watches I've owned. I bought it used like new for $245 from an Amazon seller, it arrived promptly in original packaging with manual, my only concern was the battery life, which I had read about before purchasing, your best option is to turn off most of the notifications you don't need to see on your watch because you will see them on your phone anyways, you may have to charge it once a day or twice a day depending on use, I didn't mind because of the price I paid,.
OK: Excellent in terms of style. The functionality is excellent. Downs: The charging system isn't working properly. This is a high-quality product, and a little more thought into the charging process would have been beneficial. I don't own an Apple equivalent and never have, but I've owned a lot of Apple products, and they're all beautiful in terms of design and attention to detail. That's really the only thing that bothers me.
Although they can be costly, we believe they are the best watches available. Very nice, excellent quality, and it performs admirably. I used to have an older version that I bought years ago. The face was cracked, but Movado repaired it free of charge, and we gave it to our son.
I had to take it to a jeweler to have two links removed, but I've done this before with other Movado watches. Although there are only five faces, this is equivalent to having five different watches. I purchased the metal band, but I plan to return for the fabric and leather options to change up my look. I believe it is less expensive to purchase ones that may match than to purchase Movado OEM. If you're going on a trip, keep in mind that the charger is specific to the watch. That part seemed to me to be lacking.
No complaints about this watch. It was an incredible purchase at a great price. When the watch arrived broken on the first order, Amazon exchanged it for a better model. br>I'd like to thank Amazon for making this possible.
It has a nice design, but the battery life is terrible (8 hours at most), which isn't enough time in a day.
Does everything and then some.
