Questions & Answers

How will this work with a NZ cell ?

Your Android or iPhone device will be able to sync as long as it's an Android or iPhone.

My phone has been charging for more than eight hours, but it does not turn on. New? Is it a brand new one?

Three seconds should be the minimum holding time on the middle pusher button. It appears that the watch will turn on when it is charging, so check to make sure the charging ring is seated correctly on the back of the watch. A watch normally charges by magnetically "clutching" into place, but if you leave the watch a bit sideways from where it should be, it won't

How can I find out if this track sleeps?

I like the watch very much
4/5

I love how subtle and not overbearing the rose gold is. The following update was made on January 7, 2019 I still think you're great! It can be a bit of a pain as well, since I forget to remove it sometimes when I'm moving furniture, etc. Using moderate amounts of power, I've been able to get the battery to last for a day and a half. In an updated version, the network has made it much more useful by showing me traffic updates, the nearest coffee shop, appointments, weather, and shipments all together in one swipe. There was one issue I ever encountered in which my location always failed to update, I believe this was caused by my phone*UPDATE Since I turned off the wrist gestures and tilt to wake (I set it to touch to wake anyway, so it doesn't turn on just with a bump or touch or even as, I haven't had any issues with battery life on this device. I get notifications and I turn my wrist to show them), plus I have limited notifications to what I actually care about. Once I arrive home from work (7 a. m. - 7 p. m. Six and a half percent) occupies a space of 60%-65% About 70% was set to regular use (checking the time, checking notifications, reading emails, and answering a few texts, along with actively counting steps and activities). I have had no problems with my charger and my phone battery is fine As a result. Having it now, I wish it came with network capabilities since I don't always carry my phone within 30 feet, but I still think that this is an amazing and stylish option. It is so easy for me to get I've only ever received negative notifications, sometimes they come in more than once. While this is not an apple watch, I think that the apps you can download (the google play store, battery killer, etc. ) and system functionality are quite good, again, this isn't an apple watch. Therefore, it is quite pricey, but it looks more attractive and is well built, so as long as it suits me and my needs, it evens out. The Amazon warehouse has them on sale for half off for extremely minor cosmetic wear (for those concerned about price, see below)

FYI The review is mine and I freely offered it to everyone since I had a lot of questions, plus other people had them, too Nevertheless, here is what I have experienced so far (the first smartwatch I have owned) It appears to be a very fine watch from a physical perspective. Unlike other overly pinkish gold you may come across, this rose gold is more subtle and not overly vibrant. My wrist is a very small size, so the screen isn't overpowering The other reviewers are talking about the bracelet feeling heavy in the way of a weight on the wrist, but I can't really relate to that statement. There is a slight difference in weight between this watch and the Michael Kors watches I have worn in the past, but it is In addition to its width, the band is very wide. This leads to an obvious protrusion of the screen, but this is not surprising. While I believe that the screen is a great size, it is very important to remember that the entire screen cannot be utilized, as there is a thin ring of black space around it. Finally, it has a double clasp. In general, I like how it looks! Although it is not as gaudy as a MK smartwatch, it is more appealing in terms of physical appearance than Apple. Although I was able to set it up without problems, there is no manual so I spent most of my time looking at reviews, questions and answers on the Kate Spade website and YouTube tutorials. It sounds great to have the option to use the face watch, but I read that some drain batteries faster than others, just as tilt to wake, wrist gestures, and touch to wake all drain batteries. My watch battery was improved when I turned off these as well as limited notifications (I do not want certain apps on my phone receiving notifications on my watch). In its case, i did not mess with it for 3 or 4 hours, and yet the battery still dropped 15 percent in that time. According to the packaging, the battery is supposed to last 24 hours. It hasn't been a problem for me so far keeping the magnet connected like others claimed, but again this is my first day with the charger. Additionally, Bluetooth doesn't drain your phone's battery as much as people seem to interpret it to do so I have not had an issue with that. You will deplete your watch's battery if you are constantly fiddling with it! If you download the Wear OS app, you can see what is draining your battery in the settings section. Also, I find the app to be very lame. * What I wish I could change

There are a lot of settings that you can manage. That would help save the battery of the watch. It would be nice to edit them when you swipe down from "Time" or if you swipe right you didn't go into face options which could be settings for customization or apps! Although there's nothing wrong with the small screen, I wish there was a way to edit the quick settings. For reference, I have a Samsung Galaxy S9. This watch does not have the same health app capabilities as an apple watch/fit bit, and apple watch is more advanced, but for me this is perfect. I don't need to pay a network fee, and heart rate comes with it. On the iPhone, you cannot answer calls and speak, you must pick up your phone, but you can answer texts, use find my phone, maps, count steps, play Pandora, etc.

You will not receive notifications for calls or texts on the iPhone. It has been reported that the iPhones' connectivity drains the battery faster, but I haven't tried it yet. Kate Spade was the first person I contacted when I got my iPhone. Apparently they are in the works of a design that would be more suitable for Apple (although it offers the same capabilities as Android watches currently do) but it isn't concrete yet, and it might result in a whole new watch in general, I'm not sure.

During the heat wave, the mine overheated Make sure you charge it carefully when you first turn it on My laptop overheated on my kitchen counter about 15 minutes (or maybe less) after I removed it from its packaging and placed it on its charger for the first time
3/5

My life well-being depends on the fact that I smelt something before it happened, otherwise- (I removed the thin plastic protective cover from the charger before charging, as I did not want to burn plastic). It was too hot for me to touch the watch when I picked it up. Unplugging it immediately gave it some time to cool down, so I am not sure whether the problem is with the watch or On the watch, I saw that it was at 47% battery power when I first hooked it up for the initial charge - But when I unplugged it after it became too hot, it showed I had 26% battery remaining. Although the watch itself was nice, when my husband walked into the kitchen, I felt how hot it was, and he said that he would think me crazy if I kept That would be the thing I'd pack back up and send I thought about it for a minute (I really like the look of the bag) but decided to follow his advice. A defective item most likely was delivered to me It is not a duplicate - I did not order another My experience with MK and Fossil smartwatches has been unsatisfactory. (I read somewhere that they are both manufactured by the I'm not sure whether that is the case, but my mind is going back to a more experienced way of thinking The brand is a well-known one. Five inches around my wrist is very small The watch is not quite 4" wide) and if I had kept it, I would have had to take out a lot of links - a task I would have gladly undertaken. I got the wrong one, there was something very wrong with it.

This is horrible
3/5

When I am at work, I usually use the watch for notifications about text messages. There is a severe lack of battery life! The first time I set it up I had it send me notifications from all of my apps, and as a result I had to turn everything off but my texts to conserve battery. There are maybe 10 texts I get from my child each day, and I only have enough battery power to last between 730am and 400pm. There's no way I have my screen on 24/7! There has been problems with the watch recently. It won't connect to my phone, won't send notifications and the back is getting too hot to wear. It closed just 30 days ago! I wanted to send it back (get a replacement or something) and I couldn't do that! Could they tell me the life span of the watch? I am spending a lot of money on this paperweight only to have a useless piece of furniture. Despite the watch's lovely appearance, its functionality (when it works) is average. If you are planning to keep the watch for a long period of time, it is not a good choice.

Having just purchased this watch, I have an iPhone and the description states it is compatible with the iPhone, but it is In order to use the phone and text feature, you need to download the app from Apple's App Store. It is currently only compatible with an iPad due to Apple's app restrictions.

There's no guarantee that what is advertised will be delivered

As the watch head itself is clear as a silver watch, its scallops are less gold. My main color is gold, so when I opened the box, I wasn't exactly thrilled with what I saw. As for the watch itself, it's a bit bulky and the strap is made of that rubber we've grown to love from Fitbit- Although it appears to be leather from the picture, it is actually made of a material that looks like leather It should be noted that if you don't want to spend twice as much on a watch that tracks activities, it should tell you when you have appointments. Please check your email, etc. , as soon as you get home from work. There is a certain sweetness to it. I just think this is a bulky design! My accessories do not have cute things that I find cute.

I love it
5/5

It is so soft to wear the silicone band. I love the watch on its own. The Bluetooth connection with my Android phone has never been broken and it was extremely easy to set up. I can use the app for everything I need it to do, including receiving and reading SMS and Hangouts messages, pausing audibles and music, and counting steps.
