The old chain of my pocket watch was broken, as I am one of the few who still use a pocket watch every day. With this watch chain, I can have peace of mind that my watch will not fall out of my pocket or be lost. It is well priced, is very sturdy, and is attractive. I had a Catholic holy medal attached to it, and now I can easily check the time and keep It's exactly what we were looking for.

The pocket watch that I found in the thrift store was a working Russian KGB award pocket watch, so I bought a vest chain to accompany I had hoped to double the chain and hook it on to my belt loop when I bought it. As it turned out, the lobster claps were too small to fit in there. It was not claimed for it to be able to do that, but I can't fault it for that. I use it as a vest pocket chain and I think it is a great deal. Despite its strength, it is still quite effective. There are some reviewers who are not thinking clearly when they say it is not strong enough. There is no need for it to be so strong that it does not break and it doesn't damage the watch. I would rather replace the watch than the clock because I think it is just right. The lobster clasp is much more secure than the standard clasps, and the length is sufficient for my needs.

You can wear it with a single chain and a double chain (which I also have) if you prefer it. It is a nice chain, heavy and simple.

The silver watch chain is nice and long. The item is exactly as it appears in the picture. Looks to be of good quality.
