No, I do not believe that is true. I ordered a large (my usual size) and it was way too baggy and the cuffs were way too big, which irritated me, so I went down to a medium and it fit perfectly.

For my 5'2", 145-pound, 34DD frame, I purchased a medium. It isn't too tight across my chest, doesn't cling to my stomach, and blouses nicely around my bottom-heavy hips. I don't think I need to wear anything underneath to keep it looking decent because the material is thick enough. Most importantly, it's incredibly cozy!.
This shirt is made of a very heavy fabric. In the winter, it's nice and warm, but in the summer, it's quite hot. It's made of a very durable material that's also very stretchy, which is nice. However, lint and hair are drawn to the fabric. I'm disappointed that the pockets are so small that they're completely useless. A phone is immediately snatched from its case. These shirts are fantastic. The sleeves are long enough, but not so long that they feel like they belong on a man. I don't have to tug them down all day because they're long enough for my long torso. They're light and airy, and they're designed to be worn loosely. Plus, there are pockets. I've placed multiple orders for these. Please be aware that the style may vary slightly from time to time. My mother and I both bought the same shirt in the same size and color, but hers had a double decorative seam on the front of the shoulders and was two shades darker than mine.
Those that are sleeved! My tummy "flaws" are hidden by the fact that it isn't form fitting. It also has pockets, which I really like. I would strongly suggest it!.

Very well-written- The fabric is extremely soft and thick (meaning it is not flimsy and easily damaged). I ended up purchasing a second one in a different color because this product is so great.
I am 5'6", 140 lbs, with an average bust line. I ordered a maroon large, which fits perfectly. I prefer my clothes to be loose, long, and airy. It was a perfect fit for what I needed and looked exactly like the picture. It has a nice loose fit and hangs just below my buttocks. The bottom of the shirt has a nice hang and the loose fitting band at the bottom helps it not cling to my belly fat. It's roomy without being too big for me. I'm going to order more of these shirts because they're so comfortable.
