It's a cute shirt, but it's designed to look like a man's t-shirt. Shirt with a very tight fit through the lower abdomen and hips. I'm not sure it's the best fit for me. I'm 5'7" and weigh 148 pounds, so I have an hourglass figure. I bought a medium and found it to be loose on top and tight on the bottom.
A jean jacket complements this look well. I intended to photograph it, but I'll do so the next time I put it on. br>br>It fits loosely as expected and appears to be exactly as depicted. It is soft and comfortable. It appears to be of high quality. I wasn't sure if I liked it on me at first, but after dressing up in it, I think it looks great on me. It was also easy to clean. br>br>I ordered a medium because I'm 5'6" and weigh 155 lbs.
I was excited to get a nice casual oversized tshirt, but due to the lack of consistency in online sizing, it's difficult to figure out what size to order. I'm 160 pounds, 5'6", with a large chest of 36E and a muscular build. Because of my chest size, I usually order larges, but this one was far too big. Even if you prefer an oversized look, size down.
This top appeals to me greatly. It's now in three different colors for me to choose from. I work from home and layer this over a sweater for a casual yet professional look. It also looks great with a pair of shorts or a pair of jeans. The seams are well-made, and the color hasn't faded or run in the wash. When I threw it in the dryer, it didn't shrink at all.
While the shirt is loose on the waist, as I had hoped, it does not flatter those with a wider waist (post-pregnancy). I appeared to be taller due to the horizontal lines. Aside from that, the colors and fabric were appealing to me. Women with a slim waist should look great in this.
I like it even though it's not what I expected. Because of the picture, I was expecting a different material, but it's Heather shading on t-shirt material. The quality appears to be good, and it washes well. The tail is extremely long. There is plenty of room, and it does not shrink or run small.
This is quickly becoming one of my go-to tunic shirts for layering under cardigans this winter! Over the tummy area, it's super comfy and flattering, and it's long. I purchased a second color and wear them on a regular basis. So far, they've held up well in the washing machine and haven't shrunk or discolored. I ordered my usual size, and the loose fit pictured on the model was exactly what I was looking for.
Because all of the reviews were so positive, I'm a little disappointed in this purchase. I like it and kept it, but the small I ordered is a little too big in the shoulders for my liking. I like how it's supposed to look oversized and slouchy, but I'm not a fan of how the shoulders fit (maybe it's just me) lol I don't have broad shoulders. Aside from that, it's a fantastic shirt; I'm not sure I'd pay more than $8 for it. If I were to buy this shirt in a store, it would cost me $10. (I purchased the white plane shirt) I may purchase a striped version of this shirt in the future.
