This would be a good idea. It is 72 years old and I weigh 108 lbs. I am 5'2" tall. This looks good on me-at least as good as my more traditional suit, but without the sunburn and strap irritation I get from them.

I wanted to find a suit with SPF and a cute design that I could use for boating and fishing. I love how comfortable this suit is! My height is 5'5", and I weigh 150 pounds, so I went with a large because I like this suit to be A perfect fit for me. Very happy with the product!.
The small was ordered since I am 5'8" and 135 pounds. Despite snorkeling with this top on, it held up well. I find the sleeves to be a bit short, but nothing too horrible. The swimming cap is tight enough for them to avoid rising in the water. Everything stayed in place and the padding worked well.
A large would have been adequate, but I wanted a little more space and didn't want it too compact. With a height of 5' 8" and a weight of 200 pounds, I fit into an xl.
My usual size for women is an 8 or 9 It depends on the brand which is why I tentatively ordered a large. But it was an actual two piece set which surprised me I thought it was too good to be true for a women's bathing suit. It surprised me how well it turned out. There is a lot of tight fitting in this top. However, even though it was a size larger than I usually wear, it was too tight.
