Questions & Answers
I bought the black and wore it on the beaches of Aruba every day. I'm a hot person, and wearing it didn't make me any hotter!
72" x 29" is the size of the artwork.
It's a good scarf, it's a thick, t-shirt-style cover-up. Material is thick and heavy, like that of a t-shirt. However, if you find something cheaper, it isn't worth the money if you don't require the extra sun protection.
This item should not be submerged in water. This is not a swimsuit and should not be used in the water.

shawl made from the sun For travel, I bought a black shawl. I traveled around Europe for ten days and found it to be extremely useful. It was a comfy blanket on the plane. Outside, it kept my shoulders warm when they were cold and shielded them from the sun when it was too hot. It even kept my hair dry when it rained lightly. br>I wore it as a scarf around my neck, as a shawl around my shoulders, or tied around the strap of my purse. br>Because I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, I held my shawl up to cover my nose whenever I passed a smoker. My husband and I attended a black-tie event together one evening. In my small black dress, I was shivering. I brought the shawl to cover my shoulders, and it turned out to be quite lovely in photographs. It hung up after a good wash in the sink. It bled black while being washed - Light colors should not be washed.
It appeals to me greatly. Because I recently had radiation treatment for a large spot of skin cancer, I need to avoid the sun as much as possible. This was purchased in July for a two-week vacation in Washington, D. C. When I went outside in the sun, I could wear cute summer tops and cover up. I used it as a wrap, draping it over my lap in the car, and holding it over our heads to create a shade tent when waiting in lines. When I was hot, the material was cool to the touch, and when the Museum's AC units were too cold, it kept me warm. I'm going to purchase two more, one for my mother and the other for my new grandson.
While the other one was being washed, I wanted an extra. I live in Phoenix, where the summers are scorching, and it's amazing how nice it feels to hide my face behind this shawl. I've developed a sun allergy, and I'm breaking out in a raging red rash. That's how I came across this shawl, which I absolutely adore. It shields me from harmful UV rays while also keeping my skin cool. It is something I strongly suggest.
This product is ideal for protecting my face from direct sunlight, especially while driving in the car, as I recently had laser treatment on my face. Although I wish the manufacturer had made this product in a scarf size, which would have worked better for me than the large shawl size, this product is still far superior to a hat or sunscreen for protecting your face from the sun when you need maximum protection.
I work outside in the summer and wear hot, sweaty long pants most of the time. After receiving my first scarf and experimenting with it, I came up with the idea of folding two scarves in half over a belt and making a skirt out of them! I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can think of.
I was able to roll it up and fit it into my handbag despite its large size. To be fair, as a mother of a young child, I do carry large handbags. The gray striped one was the one I went with. Because it's a heather gray, it'll go well with a variety of bright and soft spring colors. It's well-made and durable, and it's large enough that I can wrap it around my shoulders or bring it up over my head and still cover/wrap it. As a photosensitive person, I also keep a skirt-style hanger in my car to keep it wrinkle-free. If I'm out in more UV than I expected, it's easy to grab on the go. Sunscreen is a great alternative to slathering it on every day. It's also a stretchy fabric, so it's not stiff in the least. It can move due to the stretch.
Instead of putting on sunscreen first thing in the morning, I use it. Is ideal for this application! I like how I can wear it around my neck, shoulders, and head. as well as other components as required. br>Would probably be too hot to wear in direct sunlight, but works well as a cover-up. After the sun has set, I get up. Although it is a little on the expensive side, I am very pleased with this purchase. It can be used for a variety of things. Because I haven't washed it yet, I'll have to hold off on making any further observations. And, for the record, I purchased white.
Excellent product with a lot of uses!br>Can be used to cover the entire upper body and the material is very soft and cool. br>The only thing you should be aware of is the garment's care, which should only be done with soft soap.
