Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the 24Plus and 24W options?

It's the same thing. A plus size of 24w is always a plus size.

These are the sizes of the lists: 20, 22, and 24, but there is no W. Is it true that these are plus-size?

Although these are plus-size pants, there is a distinction between regular and "W" sizes. I have four pairs of the black in 20W, but every time I've tried to order the navy in 20W, I've gotten a 20, and the fit in the hips and length/height of the rise aren't the same. I'd recommend the W if your hips are even slightly curved.

Is it possible to dry them?

I haven't tried drying them, but I'm sure you could do so. The only thing to keep in mind is that the pants have a slight crease down the front, which would most likely be released by putting them in the dryer. If you don't like creases or don't want them, I'm sure frying them would suffice; I prefer to hang mine to dry and then steam them as needed. So far, my navy slacks have held up admirably over the last six months!

Could someone tell me the width of the hem since the length of 18w is unknown? My normal length is 31 inches, so I'll have to let the hem out. ?

I usually dress in a 30-inch skirt. I have to hem these by at least three inches because they have a 31" inseam. This is a pair of pants designed for tall people.

I finally bought a pair of slacks to wear to meetings
5/5

I have to attend meetings every now and then and we're required to wear something other than jeans, so it's difficult to shop for clothing online, especially if you're a little chunky. That's all I have, but I'm willing to take a chance on these. It was a good deal. I was pleased with how well they fit after trying them on. It was also a good length. However, I was disappointed when I went to buy another pair in a different color and discovered that the price had gone up. a good deal Figures. They finally come up with a solution that works, and then they raise the price.

Professional-looking pants
5/5

I usually wear a size 16/18 in dresses and pants, so I ordered a pair in 16 and another in 18 regular lengths, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they both fit perfectly. Both pairs of pants had their pockets sewn closed. That, however, was easily remedied with a seam ripper and a little patience. I was perplexed as to why the pockets were sewn shut when there were real pockets beneath those seams. Anyway, the pants were very comfortable, with elastic all the way around the waist; I prefer dress pants that are a little looser, so the size 18 was my favorite; as I wore them throughout the day, they became a little looser, but not so loose that they lost their shape. I'd strongly suggest it!.

I really like how it fits
5/5

I'm 5'4" tall and weigh around 250 pounds. I placed an order for the 22 SHORT. They're a little higher on the waist than my pj bottoms, but they're just as comfortable. I adore them as a result. I'm only wearing a 1" heel, so the length is ideal.

This is an excellent match
5/5

I've been wearing Briggs pants for a long time. I needed a new pair of pants for an upcoming cruise, but the store where I usually bought them was out of stock, so I went online and found these on Amazon. They fit perfectly, just like all of my other Briggs pants, with enough stretch to make sitting and moving a breeze. The only difference is that the new pant's material is slightly thinner than my old Briggs pants, but it still drapes well and does not cling.

Exceptional Fit - The colors are a little unusual
5/5

These are extremely comfortable and true to size. br>br>I purchased several pairs, and the colors are a little unusual. br>br>The navy is a deep shade of blue. I couldn't tell if they were blue or black in the artificial light when they arrived last night. I confirmed that they are blue, but almost black, this morning. But it's not a navy blue, in my opinion. br>br>The other pair I purchased was in a heather taupe color. They're a little darker in person than they appear in the picture. Those I'm not sure I'll keep. br>br>I'll probably buy these in navy and black again, and I'll also try the heather grey.

This isn't going to be a quick read
4/5

I've previously purchased Briggs short size pants, which fit perfectly; however, these pants are at least two to three inches too long. The label stated that they were 29 inches long; however, I do not believe this is the case, and I have not measured them. I'm 5. 2 with a 27-inch inseam; I'm not sure how a 29-inch inseam could be considered short unless you count 5. 6 to 5. I don't believe it's possible to be nine minutes short. I now have to pay a fee of $15. 00 to have them shortened, which adds to the pants' price. Is it possible for me to cut them down? It's difficult for me to see through my 73-year-old eyes.

Briggs is one of my favorite brands of dress pants
5/5

This brand of dress pant is one of my favorites. I have a black pair with the double latch and zipper that I can't seem to find in my size (btw, I've washed that black pair of pants 100 times and they are still in perfect condition!). As a result, I decided to try the navy elastic band pants. They fit perfectly, if a tad large, but not so much that they will fall off. The pockets were strangely sewn together, as others had mentioned, but I was able to easily open them. The navy is a deep shade of blue. I paid around $25 for each pair, so the price is also ideal! I would strongly suggest it.
