A review I read had me a little worried. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that some of the women said the clothes fit perfectly and that others said they were not plus size. In addition to my height and weight, I'm 5'6" and The pants I wear are size 24 and the shoes I wear are size 3 The top four are 4X. The calf size is definitely large enough for my thick and More colors in different sizes will be purchased in the future! I was not expecting these to be as good as they are! On my skin, they are soft and comfortable, and they can be sized for my queen-size bed They are just the right size. One zip-up laundry bag I use for dirty stockings, another different colored bag for clean ones. I ordered a set of zippered laundry bags from Amazon. To avoid getting stuck without a pair of stockings, I launder right in the bag, toss them in the dryer and then transfer them directly to the clean bag, tying two loosely together so I'll always have one nearby. Because the smaller sizes fit well but the tops are sometimes loose and sag or roll down, so I went up a size. This band stays in place, it is wide, and it is comfortable. It doesn't matter if you are plus size or not. The whole world would be very happy if they made all of them this way.
I would not call these knee highs on me, because I am 5'10", plus size, and have thick calves and size 12 feet. Although I and the hose stretched as hard as we could, they only went up to about midcalf. The good news is I was wearing them with pants, so it didn't cause me a great deal of grief. These hose were generally comfortable, the wide top band was incredibly helpful, and they did not run or roll at all during 8 hours of interviews and campus tours. They did drift down slightly on my calf, but that was barely noticeable. Then again, I probably just stretched them a bit too far. It is a good buy and I am quite pleased with it overall.
There is supposed to be a size for plus size women up to 6' tall and up to 284 pounds. It's hard to tell how tall and how heavy I am at 5'4". The only problem with these is that they barely fit my knees when stretched to the limit. Also, my legs are not heavy, just not regular so they fit around them, so I don't know how anyone taller than me or heavier can wear them.
