had hoped these socks would be similar to some silky trouser socks I ordered here, but can't remember what they were called.
They are not, but they are fine nonetheless. I am not bothered by the lack of defined feet in their shoes. Although the fabric is not quite thick as tights, they are almost so, so they won't run as fast as tights. Because they come up to the top of my calf, there's no need to fold them The fit is a little tight, so someone with a larger calf may not be able to wear them. So they seem to be doing However, at this price I wouldn't buy a single pair again, not unless there was a special color available.
The first time I wore these socks, one of them ripped almost all the way down and left a huge hole. I bought them for a costume, but I was very disappointed. These were so thin and cheap that they ripped before I could use them. I wasn't rough with them, but they were so thin and cheap that they broke before I could use them. snugly, but not too tightly, and otherwise they should have been fine.
