The skirt is very well-made. I normally buy a 2X in Torrid, Modcloth, City Chic, but I went with a 2X instead, and it fits perfectly, if a little snugly. I returned this skirt even though it was a really nice skirt. The dress was a bit shorter on me than I had expected based on the model's height, but it was not as short as shown. If you wear the shorts that high on your waist and buy a smaller size, you might get a shorter look. Although the skirt hangs lower in the front than on the back because of my round booty, I had to return it because of the way the skirt fit my booty. Honestly, I thought that was pretty ridiculous and not something I could work with. It was 3x for me. Originally, I wore it much higher, in line with my navel, but it was pulled down much further for me. There is a lot of fabric, so it hangs really well and the construction seems quite sturdy. It says to hand wash and line dry, but I have machine washed my longer length one on cold and hung it to dry, and it works fine. I suspect you could machine wash this one as well. The conclusion is Despite being polyester, the skirt is flattering and the fabric looks good. If my butt had not been the problem, I would have kept it.

Both the black and blue skirts are staples in my wardrobe now that I have them in 2X. This skater skirt is slightly longer than the others I order, which is perfect for me since I am plus-sized. Thanks to this new invention, I don't have to worry about showing off my butt! This is a very nice product at a great price. It's very comfortable as well. I can tell you from experience that the skirt rides up in the back if you are like me and have bigger booties. You should be aware of this.
