That's a good fit for you. Although they are a little large, they are still very good. I wear a size 14 and the Large fits perfectly. I am very pleased with the quality of the product. A new pair of shoes was just ordered.

Bigger than I expected

It's very comfortable to wear these shorts. My preference is for a snug fit, but these are a bit On the basis of my measurements, I was recommended a size 2X. Due to a sold out 2X, I got 1X and hoped for the best. In fact, they are so stretchy they could have comfortably (without a fat spillage) fit an extra In terms of height and weight, I am 5'2 and 225 pounds. The bottom of my tummy is flatter, but the bottom of my butt and inner thighs are huge. People with large stomachs may find that there is plenty of room in the garment. I had a bit of a problem with them being a little wider at the bottom, but they are better cuffed twice so I was able to wear them. All in all, this pair of shorts is great.

An increase in the size of the legs is unexpected

It was a surprise to find these shorts longer and with wider legs than I anticipated. Although the description says slim, the legs seemed loose, but since they say slim, they made me think they would be more snug. My goal was to improve the fit of the pants by sewing them. Although I had a problem with the waist, it did fit well.
