It is lightweight, but firm enough for undergarments. It is also thin enough to not add bulk to undergarments. I am 5'5" and 140 lbs. , and I ordered size Large.

This is a very comfortable bed

During the summer months, they are great to put under a skirt or dress. The pants have a light feel, are cooling, and do not restrict the leg or waist in any way. It is a company I would recommend. The only thing that would be nice would be to have more color options.
