It isn't particularly substantial. It's made of a material that makes you feel like you're getting warmer the more you move. That's the most accurate description I can come up with. I have to remove it from time to time because my back sweats. But I've noticed that when I'm standing still, I freeze.

Due to the fact that I am usually a medium size, I had my norms ordered. At the bottom, the torso is incredibly long and saggy! I despise it and hope to be able to return it despite my daughter ripping the tag off! aaaargh!.
I prefer a slim fit, but I could have gone with an xs if I wanted it to be roomier. Instead of the usual ribbed material, the sleeves are made of a nice smooth knit fabric. Although the pockets aren't particularly deep, they are adequate. My arms are quite long, and the arms on this one are quite long as well. This scrub jacket is one of the most attractive I've ever seen. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>Edit 12/26/20: Removed a star due to a 7-minute delay. The zipper gave out after 8 months. I don't zip up my scrub jackets, so this isn't a big deal for me, but zippers shouldn't just break in the wash. Others, I'm sure, would be irritated as well.
Great length, feminine waist cut, and I adore the sleeve cuffs! The infinity jacket has itchy ribbed cuffs/accents, so this is a nice jersey type fabric. I would purchase this item again.

This wam up jacket for work is my absolute favorite! My iFlex scrubs are my all-time favorites, and the jacket is equally impressive! In iFlex tops, I ordered my usual size, which fits perfectly. The sleeves are the perfect tightness on my arms, I love the pockets, and I love that it is slightly fitted so it doesn't look baggy; it's a little longer than I usually like but not so much that it looks awkward; the sleeves are the perfect tightness on my arms; and I love that it is slightly fitted so it doesn't look baggy. Furthermore, it does not attract hair! At work, I was holding a hairy German Shepherd who was completely covered in hair, and it only took one swipe of my hand to get it all off. I can't say enough good things about it, and I strongly advise you to try it!.
This jacket is absolutely gorgeous. It's very flattering, and it hides my shapeless scrub top. What's more, guess what? The jacket has been approved as part of the uniform by the committee!.
The fabric is much more durable and flexible than standard cotton scrubs, but the sleeves are a little tighter than I expected, so I can't pull them up. I've also noticed that the black coloring rubs off on the tubing of my stethoscope, and this happens no matter how many times I wash it. You'll love this if you don't want to roll up your sleeves or use a black scope. One of my coworkers has the Cherokee infinity jacket, and the color runs off as well, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the way the fabric is dyed.
This scrub jacket is fantastic. In one day, five nurses inquired about my purchase. In scrubs, I usually wear a medium, and I'm 5'5" and size 8-1/2. I ordered a small after reading the reviews. The fit is satisfactory, but keep in mind the following: The sleeves are on the slim side, but I have average arms and don't mind a tighter fit. If you have thick arms or wear a long sleeve tee under your scrubs, however, the sleeves may be too tight. br>I can also zip, but not comfortably, but hey, I ordered a small, and the shoulder seams are perfect; a medium would have been too big for me. And, to be honest, I never zip or close these in the first place. It's to keep my arms and body warm when I wear it, but I never close a jacket anyway. I should have ordered a medium if I wanted it to stay closed. I adore the jacket; it's sleek, reveals my waist, and has very flattering lines.
