I'm glad I went up a size from my usual L to an XL. I recently had back surgery and, unfortunately, gained some weight during my 4-week recovery period. I had a six-week recovery period after my surgery, which made me very self-conscious about my appearance. As I worked to get back down in size, I wanted to add a few "flowy" tunics to tide me over until I returned to work; they fit loosely enough that I didn't feel self-conscious about the fabric clinging to my rolls, but not so loosely that they looked bummy. At 5'8" and 180 pounds, these tops are far too short to be worn without leggings or pants. I'm ecstatic with how well they fit and how fashionable they appear. I bought them in red, yellow, and army green, as well as the navy long-sleeved version. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I am eager to place additional orders!.
16) and based on the other reviews I read, I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly! It's flowy and a great top to wear with jeans or leggings! I ordered the green and beige (ivory) and will be ordering more in the future! I would suggest going down a size.
In tops, I usually wear a size 20 and order a 3X because I like my tops to be loose and flowy. I can wear a size 1X to 3X depending on how fitted I want the sleeves and bust area to be (I have a small bust). These tops are ideal for body shapes such as mine, where the top (shoulders/bust) is narrower than the bottom (belly/butt). You know who you are when you have to buy larger tops to cover your booty area and you end up looking like Sponge Bob because the shoulder seams reach your elbows? That is not the case with this top. It looks good on you. I am 5'4" tall, and the 3X is a good fit for me. Leggings look great with thigh-high boots and long sleeves. Even when I bend over at my height, it covers my large rear end.
They're made of a very nice material and are well-made. They are, however, enormous! I ordered a small because I am 5'2" and weigh 112 pounds. I'm wearing dresses with these tunic tops. They look great as dresses on my frame, so I'm not too disappointed. If you're short like me, be aware that other reviews may not be exactly what you're looking for.
I fell in love with it and knew I needed it in my life; I initially ordered three shirts, but after receiving them, I ordered more. They were made for each other. They're ideal for wearing with leggings. I'm 5'4" and it's the perfect length for me. Additionally, the cost is unbeatable! These shirts have received a lot of positive feedback. I intend to purchase a large number of additional items. As a teacher, I'm constantly on the lookout for shirts that are both comfortable and fashionable. This is exactly what I was looking for.
size tops, and this one comes closer to my vision of perfection than many of Ulla Popken's much more expensive offerings. br>br>I prefer tops that are a little longer. 34 inches is about right. Just past the saddlebags and the bottom of my booty, but not too long or my legs will appear stumpy. br>br>A flared fit is also something I prefer in my tops. With a gracefully draping a-line skirt, it's not too tight anywhere, but it's a little tighter around the bust and shoulders. line from there on out br>br>I prefer a soft, not stiff, fabric. Soft but with enough weight to skim and hang just right, without clinging to any less-than-perfect surfaces. than- lumps and bumps are desirable. br>br>I prefer sleeves that are at least two-thirds of the length of my upper arms. It's best if you can keep your hands up to glove length. br>br>This top hits the ball out of the park. After receiving the "test" shirt, I ordered six more because it's so comfortable and flattering. It has a boho feel to it and can be dressed up or down. The black is well-saturated and hasn't faded in the slightest after being exposed to the elements. Hang to dry after a gentle wash in cold water. The fabric is light enough to wear in the spring and summer, but thick enough to keep it from being too translucent in the fall. br>br>I'm blown away by Larace's ability to provide such a high-quality service. At this price, it's a well-made and flattering tunic; I have several in black and navy, and I'm waiting for it to come out in brown. Note on size: br>br> In Ulla Popken tops, I usually wear a 28/30 or 32/34, depending on how flared the shape is, and the 4X in this top fits me perfectly. So, if you're curvy and/or hippy, I'd go up a size!.
If they fit through the armholes, they're usually too short, tight around the chest, and reveal my stomach. This isn't a very attractive appearance. Alternatively, if they fit in the chest, the armholes are so huge that I can fit my head through them and they hang like a tent. br>br>It's difficult to find a shirt that drapes nicely without clinging, but this top succeeds! It fits me perfectly and hangs just below my hips, making it very flattering. If you're short on top, this will look like a mini-dress. Dress for yourself, but it should also work for taller girls! Also, try it if you're a bigger girl with a belly! I've already bought it in a different color and plan to get it in both sleeveless and short sleeve versions!.
