So, for a long time, I debated whether or not to keep this robe, as I had been looking for a good fitting robe without success. br>br>I adore this robe for a variety of reasons. I live in a mild climate and can easily become overheated. This robe's material is ideal: it's light and airy without being see-through. It also has a pleasant texture. I like the shorter sleeves because they don't get wet when you wash your face or brush your teeth. In addition, I am quite tall. It's the perfect length for me because I'm 5'10" tall. My knees are just above the top of it. It's nearly impossible for tall women to find short robes that don't expose their entire backside when bending over! In addition, the fit is spot on. br>br>The placement of the robe tie is my biggest gripe with this robe. It's at a ridiculously high altitude! The tie is literally just under my bust, as evidenced by the photos I posted of the robe on and the location of the tie. I also include a photo of myself wearing the robe at my natural waist, sans belt loops. My natural waistline is 4 inches lower than the robe's belt loops! So I could have just skipped the belt loops, but then the tie would be completely detached from the robe. (How vexing! ) The other issue is that when I tie the belt around my natural waist, it covers the top portion of the pocket openings, making them ineffective. br>br>I ended up returning the robe, which is a shame because everything else about it was perfect; I realize I'm tall, but the robe tie could easily be two inches longer. 3 inches lower and the majority of people will still be able to fit. I'm going to keep looking.
This robe caught me off guard. I was looking for a cheap black long robe to replace my long-time favorite RL, which I had gotten years ago but was too old to wear anymore. I decided to give it a shot because I've been trying on more clothes from Amazon due to the pandemics and not being able to go to the stores. This robe's description says it's made of light cotton, but it's not light and flimsy. It has a similar feel to pima (Supima) cotton, in that it has body and is soft. The design is simple yet sophisticated. It has internal ties, which could, in my opinion, be weaker than they are now. The tie is the perfect length for me.
Because I'm 5'1", you can see how long it is. The hue is stunning.
Likesbr>It's soft, easy to wash, and fits just right. br>Dislikesbr>I wish the robe would stay closed more tightly. It pops open even when the tide is tight.
It's the perfect length, and the color is exactly what I expected. The cotton is extremely gentle on the skin. Many other robes are either too bulky or too short, but this one is just right; I ordered several colors and am looking forward to wearing it.
This is a decent rope. I don't care for the lack of a hanging strip on the neck. I also dislike the lack of pockets and the fact that the ties are not attached to the rope like they are on other similar priced items, as well as the fact that it opens in the middle of the legs. I like how soft it is and how long it is. I should have purchased it in a larger size so that it could rap better all over. Although this one does not fit, it may have aided in the better closure of the bottom. At least before washing, I believe they fit true to size. I haven't washed it yet, but I plan to do so tomorrow because I only received it today. I'm not going to buy it again unless it's on sale. Because I can get a better deal on Amazon for the same price with their discount.
Wow! I was looking for a low-cost, high-quality travel robe, and this is far more than I anticipated. I'm 5'8" and have a bit of a chest, so this is a perfect fit for me. The fabric is soft and thick, unlike cheaper garments in this price range, and it huggs your curves in a very flattering way thanks to the spandex in it. It is highly recommended that you purchase a variety of patterns and/or colors. I'm going to place a second order.
The color is exactly as shown, and the size is exactly what you'd expect. I'm not sure I believe the cloth contains as much cotton as it claims because it absorbs so little. Because terry cloth robes tend to make me overheat, I wanted this for after I showered. This didn't absorb much water from my skin and instead just stuck to me, which wasn't very pleasant. I'll keep it because it's a nice light summer robe, but it won't keep me warm after a shower.
