I purchased this product to wear under a formal gown for a special occasion, and it did an excellent job of smoothing everything out. It's not designed to suck everything in like a waist trainer, but it does help in the tummy area and moves your waist and thighs out. I did order a size up based on previous reviews, but it does have a bit of a stretch to it, so I would recommend sticking to your regular size. I'll be wearing this under my formal dresses from now on, and I highly recommend it for these types of events! I'm also going to order this in nude.

I ordered a size up after reading reviews and realizing that I didn't want to size down because I wanted to stay tight and look good. I was worried about how it would ride up and end up on my buttocks when I walked around. I usually get a medium, but this time I went with a large. I guess I'd go with a medium because it's not quite as "tummy control" as advertised. Great dress, still give it 5 stars, but for those interested, if you want the tummy control aspect of it, don't size up for the reasons I did.

I ordered a small, but the waist didn't have much stretch, so instead of stepping in, I had to pull it on over my head. The top of the slip was perfect for wearing without a bra, with nice smoothing cups and a lower cut v-neck. The bottom hem of the dress kept riding up and bunching around my butt! To keep the fabric in place, I used double-stick boob tape, but I found myself constantly adjusting and pulling down. Thankfully, my dress was not too tight around the hips, but the slip, which is short and hits just above mid-thigh, was still visible underneath. thigh. This shaper is fantastic! It won't have a strong grip, but it will help to smooth things out. I don't have to wear a bra unless I want to, and if I do, I'll remove the padding. It is extremely cozy. It's more of a slip than a compression girdle, so if you're looking for serious support and tummy flattening, you'll be disappointed. Because it's short, I can see why some women might have trouble rolling it up, but I didn't have that problem.

I'm 155 pounds, 5'5" tall, and wear a 34C bra size, so I ordered a size M, which was perfect for me. It may be too small in the bra area for you if you have larger breasts.
