br>br>The style is very flattering, especially considering my postpartum tummy. I also like how thin and soft the fabric is. With a skirt, it's dressy, but it also works with jeans. On top of it, I've been wearing a light open cardigan. br>br>From a practical standpoint, nursing in this top is simple and modest: the opening is large enough to comfortably nurse, and the extra fabric on the front makes nursing without a cover simple. br>br>At 5'4" and 150 pounds, I ordered a size L and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, when I return to pre-school, it will most likely be far too big. In the next 6-months, I want to lose weight (130 pounds). a period of twelve months Because I plan to nurse for a few years, I'm seriously considering ordering more of these in size M for when that happens!.
So, this shirt's concept is actually quite useful. However - The fabric is gentle on the skin while hugging all of your curves. roll. Breastfeeding, sleep deprivation as a postpartum mother something that reveals my frump as a new mom - not cool. It's not the design of the shirt that matters, but the material from which it's made. It appears to be very fluid. It was supposed to be loose, but it wasn't, and I'm not a big girl. My little one always lets milk run out of her mouth, so I got the light tan color to show where the milk was so bad. It's not the best place to hide a spilled glass of milk.
The material is very soft and breathable. It's a thin material, but it's opaque enough to keep you from seeing through it. It's a little loose around the breasts and chest, but it'll help with breast engorgement. The bottom layer is a little short in the torso, but the top layer adds coverage (in case you're pregnant). I hope it washes and dries well.
br>I absolutely love this shirt. The ease with which I can breastfeed and the comfort of the shirt make me very happy! I like that it has a piece of fabric shoulder down to under the breast in a v-neck, so I don't have to worry about anything opening up in the wind. (as if it were a bra) and then solid the rest of the way down. The overlay sections are then added to the shirt. This shirt is extremely comfortable and flattering, as it does not cling to my still-present mommy belly. It was well worth the money!.
It's super soft and has a little give to it. I think it'll be fine for nursing, but I'll probably keep wearing it afterwards. It would be perfect for wearing to work with a cardigan because of the material quality. I went up to an XL because some people complained about the arm holes being too small; it fits fine, but I think I could have gotten away with a L.
Some work is required on the inner layer. When going out in public, the top comes in handy. When running errands, it's convenient to nurse. br>The fabric is quite sturdy. It's also very comfortable on a hot day because the material is breathable. br>However, the image is much greener than the one I got. I received a shirt that was almost black with a hint of green. br>One thing I don't care for is how loose the inner layer is and how easily it can ride down. This allows a gust of wind to easily blow the top layer up, exposing your bra to the world.
My favorite type of nursing shirt is one that doesn't look like a nursing shirt and has a top layer that can cover everything you need it to (including the baby's head!). If you're out in public, don't do it. I also like that the underlayer has a v neck rather than holes. Because it's a flowy style, the fit is fairly forgiving. It would have worked for maternity for me if it had been a little longer, especially in the front, but I'm tall.
If you don't want to wash it a lot, don't get the gray one. The black and gray were the colors I chose. They were both fantastic in terms of comfort, style, and flattery, but the gray one has an unpleasant odor, which is why I docked a star. I've done three loads of laundry so far. All and Gain w/snuggle fabric softener were tried once with diluted bleach and once with Gain w/snuggle fabric softener. It's become a tad less acrimonious. I'll just keep washing it until I can't stand it any longer. The black one is particularly impressive. This is a great nursing shirt because it's comfortable enough to wear around the house but can also be dressed up for business.
