No, I do not believe that is true. They were a present for my daughter, so I purchased them. When I see her wear them, the fit appears to be the same as it was when I bought them.

On a PP mama, this is not flattering. Even though I'm only two weeks postpartum, I clearly have a stomach, which the rouching on the sides and the clinginess of the material emphasize. The large nursing access on the sides makes this shirt stand out as a nursing shirt, but it also has a muscle workout shirt feel to it that hangs oddly around the boobs. I'm definitely returning it.
The fit is a little looser than I expected, but not to the point where I'd send them back. To give you an idea of my height, I'm 5' 9". Approximately 145-150 At baseline, I weighed 150 pounds; now, four days after giving birth, I weigh 160 pounds. For the price, it appears to be a well-made, high-quality product with sufficient overlap in the layers to provide adequate coverage.
Overall, I'm a big fan of these tees. They're moderately flattering while also being forgiving of a postpartum figure. The older design of this shirt, with a straight cut across the middle on the underneath layer, appealed to me a little more. These shirts have a large gap in the middle, which can cause them to lay oddly. It does not, however, diminish my admiration for them. They're of good quality, have a nice feel to them, and perform admirably. I'm 5'7" and 235 lbs (6 weeks postpartum) in these photos, but I still ordered a large, which fit well when I was breastfeeding my first child and weighed closer to 200 lbs. So they're pretty adaptable to postpartum weight changes, and I even wore some of my older design shirts of this type while pregnant, and they doubled as maternity shirts.
I like the idea of this shirt because it doesn't look like a nursing shirt from the front and has ruching on the side that makes it look very flattering. The fabric is very soft and flowy! However, I'm giving it four stars because it runs a size larger than expected and appears boxy from the front. I'm 10 weeks postpartum, 5'3" and 220 pounds, and I usually order a size XXL (as shown). I was curious if ordering down a size would make the front panel flap less and appear less boxy, but I'm going to return it and stick with the shirts that have a front flap over the breast.
Because of all the fabric, it's a little shapeless in the front, but it's very functional, and I love how unique it is. nursing tops that are fashionable The fabric is also nice, and despite the low price, it doesn't feel cheap!.
Their nursing tops are fantastic! br>br>The super soft, lightweight modal fabric keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This top (and the company's long-sleeved tops with the same design) is great for nursing and pumping because it has a nice, drapey fit. Anyone who needs to be able to pump out nurse outside of the house should get this. br>br>I'm 5'4", 143 pounds [postpartum], 36DD, and I ordered a small. It's a good fit, especially since it accommodates a variety of different maternity bellies. br>br>(Pumping with flanges always results in some nipple show inside the flange, but this top hides the majority of it. ) This shirt comes 100 with a nursing cover. ).
In a few months, she'll be expecting her first child. A medium was the size she requested. She did send me photos of herself wearing one of these (it comes in a set of three), and she looks amazing. She stands 5 feet 8 inches tall with a long body and weighs 156 pounds. She was 5 1/2 months pregnant at the time. She informed me that she will not be using these as maternity blouses because she does not want to stretch them out. But, if she's anything like her first child, who was born three years ago, that girl makes me jealous! She quickly shed her baby belly, but she struggled to find a nursing shirt or tank that didn't reveal her pregnancy. She stated that these are ideal and appear to be a standard tank. Her shoulders are very broad, and they look great on her. As I previously stated, they are of good length, and she has a long torso. She also stated that they are extremely soft because she is expecting her first child in June. She commented on how nice the colors of these tanks are!!.
