26/28 is my estimate
There is no way our size chart would be the same as Amazon's. If you want your clothing to be fitted, a size 12 would be between a size L and an XL. It would be 20/22 if 2x were used
I measured the shirt from the top of the neck on the back of it to the bottom on the hanger, and it was not quite 30" long. Thanks, and I hope that helped.
Neither side has an advantage

It is more like an intense indigo colored ink, rather than being predominantly blue. The product picture makes it look like it has access from both sides, but it doesn't and that's weird. Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to the product pictures and I didn't notice it until now. I only had one other issue that the seam for the top layer was flipped on the very edge and so the drape didn't lay perfectly flat. In spite of my best efforts, I find it irritating more and more. Although the fabric is thin, it drapes well and comes in other colors. Wish it was available in more colors and was always in stock.
There is a lot of "slinky" fabric in the fabric, and it is not flattering in any way, but it is very One thing I do not like is that there is an access point on the right side, making it easy to nurse Nonetheless, both the left and right arms of the shirt must be pulled away from each other. The top layer flap is the one on the left side. As a result, even if you wear a tank underneath, you will be exposed to criticism if you nurse on the left. In order to nurse on the left hand, you will need to expose your midsection to the world (which defeats the purpose of a nursing top) so you should be fine if you don't mind exposing yourself to the world. I found the fit to be as expected and the fabric to have enough.
The size 2x is what I ordered. There is a lot of flowiness and looseness to it. Three weeks after my baby was born, this shirt still fits me well. My only complaint is that when wearing it outside, the front pieces will split, revealing the split and the nursing part. It would be helpful if there was a small clasp or button to prevent this. The one I'm going to wear is probably one I'll sew.
Added an edit There is a hole in the shirt after it has been washed and dried. I love this top, but I wish the under-layer was a bit more detailed For easier nursing on the other side, the layer with the slit went over to the other side more.
Despite the bad fit, it was comfortable.
If you're the kind of mom who gets sweaty while feeding her baby, this is the right thing for you. It's not so light that it's cold, but it's breathes. The seam above the breasts makes it seem trendy and special as opposed to being a giant circus tent as other nursing pieces tend to be.
I love the quality of these! A 1x fits like a 3x, and I think it would be more comfortable over a 1x.
