Selected User Reviews For Kindred Bravely Universal Labor and Delivery Gown | 3 In 1 Labor, Delivery, Nursing Gown for Hospital

Definitely worth the time! In my opinion, this would be worth purchasing, but I debated it for a while
5/5

Despite all the troubles, it was so gratifying to receive it in the end! My first purchase was a labor and delivery gown from another brand, but when I tried to nurse I found that the front of the gown was not fully open. Unlike this gown, that gown had two button-down "holes" for nursing access (but a slightly awkward placement) but it did not have a flap that could be lifted all the way down. The Kindred Bravely gown was the perfect one for flapping down in front for skin to skin contact and feeling like you're surrounded by beautiful women. The breastfeeding process is easy. It was so comfortable and it also looked cute in pictures, so I wore it during labor and delivery and after giving birth. You can attach Velcro down the front & back of the shirt I could not even feel a difference in my back while sitting or lying down (I was worried it was too thick & heavy). It is uncomfortable. I liked the material because it was I like soft shirts and they are comfortable It should be neither too thick nor too thin. My only issue was that I had the backside open above my waist when I lay in the hospital bed after delivery and the Velcro would catch on the mesh undies while I was trying to change in By keeping the Velcro fastened, you can fix this problem with no problem at all. The whole thing was my fault, and I should be aware of that. The size reference is as follows XL/XXL were the perfect size without being too big or too small for me. I am 5ft 5inches and 185 pounds the day I gave birth.

Go ahead and do Getting this gown was the most helpful thing I did to prepare for my delivery
5/5

I mean it. This might not be the most glamorous scenario, but it's filled with precious moments. The last thing you want is to have to worry about your gown untying while you're in them. This is one of the things the hospital staff commented on, they appreciated the fact that it had Velcro on both the front and back, so I could do my utmost to provide comfort without compromising their ability to perform their duties. It doesn't make it any easier if you unintentionally show them your best side before the end. Everyone in that room will see a lot of you by the end, but that doesn't make it any easier for you to show off before then. I felt much warmer and covered in this gown than I did in those paper-thin gowns The tie is thin- In the hospital, you will be given gowns to wear. While I wore the garment for at least 12 hours after giving birth before I was able to shower, I felt less gross than I might have anyway and I especially enjoyed the added benefit of being able to nurse without having to totally open up since someone new would enter the room constantly.

Too thin to pass muster
3/5

The situation got out of hand recently and I had to switch to a cesarean at 35 weeks and ordered this to wear in the OR to help me gain control. To get this in the mail and try it on was such an exciting experience! I really liked the fit of the shirt, but it is incredibly thin. This is definitely not very soft without a bra and you can see through it without any protection. A bra is worn underneath the shorts I am wearing in the photo I posted. In other words, it would be an image of XXX! The brand has really good reviews, and I'm quite disappointed, especially after hearing such great things! Still, it's better than hospital gowns, so still worthwhile a purchase! Is that true, or not?.

I like that! In order to wear it during my hospital delivery, I bought it
5/5

My experience as a nurse gives me insight into what other nurses are searching for when it comes to functionality. The first thing that sets it apart is the comfort, and the Velcro closures on the front and back make it easy to bring in an epidural, skin-to-skin, and get around IV There is a lot of softness to it. Additionally, you can breastfeed and do skin to skin with the infant when they are born because it has snaps going down the shoulders on both sides. The calf of my foot gets covered. Hospital gowns are so ugly and have already been worn by a number of patients. In addition, they're open in the back, so I don't want to be concerned with.

An amazing gown for labor and after delivery
5/5

A C- is my grade I wanted to share my opinion of this gown in the following section. This product helped me after my surgery The day after my surgery, I found it very useful When I changed into those soft and comfortable maternity gowns (especially when compared to the hospital ones provided by the hospital), I felt covered up, and yet had all the features of hospital gowns, such as a slit down the center, so I could easily breastfeed. The gown was soft and pretty, and even the nurses commented on how nice it was! I would recommend it for both natural and c-section deliveries!.

My comfort level is good, but I wish I had While I was in labor, I found this gown so much more comfortable than the hospital gowns! read a complaint about the thinness of the material, but felt it was appropriate for my needs
4/5

I wanted thin material as it was hot in Texas during the summer when I was pregnant. It did not seem that important to me My experience in the hospital ended up being much less exposed than through the ones at home. A lot of work, but totally worth it. Towards the end of the delivery, I had to change into one of the hospital's gowns due to stains on the dress. In the future, I think I'll get a second gown. One for the laboring process and one for after most of those messy things are done. In my opinion, there is no other gown that's better in terms of functionality anywhere! For the staff to monitor my contractions and my baby's heart beat, they needed to get access to my front. I required an epidural, so they had to enter my back. The gowns being sold with both access points are rare. As far as functionality of a hospital gown was concerned, this was the only gown that seemed to meet my expectations. There was only one thing that made me hesitant to purchase this gown - These brands could take their design game to the next level by offering additional colors and patterns.

Compared to hospital gowns, this is much more comfortable! I'm in love with this gown! This made labor and delivery as well as the postnatal recovery process that much easier
5/5

In front and on the back, the Velcro is completely concealed. There are also plastic snaps (very sturdy) on the shoulder of each side, so you can attach a port for IVs, breastfeed, etc. In addition, there is a front pocket large enough to hold a phone while it is a little on the small side. There is a surprisingly thick cotton fabric that is comfortable to wear. This jacket was the perfect balance of breathing ability and weight, not too heavy or too light. The benefits of wearing a hospital gown over a regular one cannot be overstated. You feel so much more human when you do it.
