I've had no problems with mine washing!
Five feet three inches tall, I bought a large and it hits me mid-calf. imagine that a medium would probably reach your knees at least. As a patient and afterward, I found the length and coverage of the gown to be very comfortable and convenient.
did not even notice they were there. This gown is much more comfortable than any hospital gown, even if the nurses are present. I love it because it's so comfortable.

As of this last weigh in at 26 weeks, I weighed 220lbs and stood 5'5" tall. My XL fit great, but could have been a bit baggy. As long as I make it to 40 weeks, I expect the bra to continue to fit comfortably. The material is soft and stretchy, but I wouldn't necessarily dry it in the dryer since it seems like the kind of material that shrinks. I am excited to not need to wear the hospital gown this time around and have a great experience with the purchase overall.
It is a great place to have an epidural due to the snaps up the back. Nursing is easy with the snaps in the front. There is a good length to it and it is thick. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is since the snaps do not remove in the front all the way through the neckline, so having to remove the sleeves and undo the top back snaps would be more convenient than just pulling down the front snaps.
I would buy this product again during the next pregnancy, but not The cons are We would use it for postpartum next time, not labor. The top does not fully unbutton so that we could touch skin to skin, and they had to cut my gown in the front for IV fluids. In the midst of labor, at 38 weeks, I was 4'11" and weighed 128 pounds -- when I sat down on the birthing ball, I was flashing everyone around me (which might not be good if you have visitors who will see what's underneath). My disappointment is that it was cut short. The gown, all in all, had to be thrown out (less fluids than we expected), it was too cut up to be reused at home as a nightgown.
I ended up spending a few hours at the hospital in that itchy gown. In the process of healing from giving birth, the last thing I wanted to do was wear itch-inducing hospital gowns for days. These gowns are so beautiful and I am so glad I bought them. I loved snuggling under it for skin to skin with my baby because it is so soft and easy to breastfeed. I have worn them to recover at home as well.
I have ordered my nursing nightgown, which is soft and will work perfectly when I deliver my baby in 5 weeks and can wear after the birth. Currently, the dress does not feel tight, but I expect it to get tighter over the next few weeks as I approach my due date, but it's still more modest and nurse-friendly than what I can expect from the hospital!.
It was very comfortable. My delivery experience was made even better by wearing this gown. Besides being so soft and comfortable, it's also stretchy and durable My friends complimented me so much. As well as the color, the length was also beautiful. The hallways of the hospital were great to walk While I got my epidural, I found the buttons on the back to be very convenient. It is a product that I would certainly buy again & It is an excellent gown, which I definitely recommend.
You can't imagine how amazing this is. Since I am pregnant, I purchased it for delivery, but I am wearing it already. Although the fabric is so soft, and the fit could work well for someone who is extremely pregnant, the fabric is very flattering. Already, I've washed it several times and it's been through both the washer and dryer. The maternity gown has just been ironed, and I have put it in the hospital bag, as I suspect I will be going into labor very shortly. My delivery day can't come fast enough for me to wear it.
Using this instead of the hospital gown during childbirth allowed me to avoid using the hospital gown. I loved how soft and comfortable it was. The only issue I had was that it was difficult to remove. It almost made me sad to see that they had to cut it off and throw it away when it became soulless. I still thought it was better than a hospital gown even if I only used it once. This shirt fits like a glove!.
