This necklace is lovely, and I was delighted to see it when I opened the box I regret to inform you that it broke this morning. I received this less than 12 hours after I received it.
This necklace is perfect for everyday wear. how close it is, and the beads are in the correct count for praying the rosary. As it is gold plated, I did not get a rash where it touches my neck. It hasn't changed the color of my hair since I put it on - I keep it on while I shower Now that it's been two weeks, I think I'm ready to give up.
This is so cute and pretty. cannot comment on how well it will hold up until I have used it for a while. As a gift, I have no idea how it will hold up. Despite that, I have noticed that the necklace is a little bit short. I do not have a very large neck but, as you will see in the attached picture, it is shorter than my other 16 inch necklace (the one with the V shape). Here is another one that sits right above that one. If you look at the other necklace in the picture it is 18 in the pearl one, and you can get an idea how big it is. My perception though is that if I were to order it, I would order one size up, just because the material runs short. This is especially true of those with a larger When you get 16 in*, if it sits up that high on a small neck, it's going to be very high or not at all on a large neck
The only other thing I noticed in the 16- is that it's a bit narrow. The biggest problem with the inch size is you cannot see the metal and the cross at the same time. The cross also tends to sort of flip back and forth and is somewhat difficult In general, I like it, but I'm not sure if I would buy it again if the need arose.
